Finally it is playoffs time in euroq2l-5 and the real games are about to begin. 2.0 and plus are already playing their match and an hour later it is HBQ vs Solaris turn to start their playoffs games. And this is the game I am going to admin. I checked both clans regular season stats and both played very well there. HBQ is still undefeated if I count out w/o game against TAK! And Solaris have only lost a very tight game against KTA. But still HBQ is a big favor here. They seems to have strong line up for this game arch Gerdt, zorre, bubkez, arch, Spam and Castic. And Solaris is trusting to cboy, Digital, wision and zyclop. Like I said I think HBQ should win this 3-0, and it doesnt help Solaris that they had little communication problems when they booked this match. Solaris wasn't prepared to play but they still agreed to play tonight. HBQ picked q2dm2 and q2dm3 and Solaris picked q2next1 and q2next2. So no surprise in map picks.

What a show from HBQ, everybody was on server and still we had to wait like 20 min to get bubkez ready not to mentions player roulette, who is playing and who is not. But finally they got team ready and countdown started. First quad went to zyclop who spawn fragged Spam couple of times and that gave few frags lead to Solaris, They also got lift from the start but lost it during first 2 minutes. But Solaris did nice effort at quad after that, but unfortunately HBQ was lucky enough to get rails instead of BFG, and therefore they got easy frags. As normal, bubkez was camping BFG-lift, and I think Spam is the one who was supporting him there. So it leaves zorre and Gerdt to quad with 4 Solaris guys. Score after 14min was 37-23 for HBQ. At quad there was an even fight for quads even tho it was 4on2 for Solaris. All quads died instantly. Neither team couldnt secure RL-lift and SSG at the same time so there was always someone behind quadrunners back with some deadly weapon. Score after 10min was 59-38 for HBQ, and they were still controlling BFG-lift. The most important play in this map was when Gerdt went to get some body armor and also got rail from bubkez, and with some boosts he attacked to quad and he cleared whole quad area and also took the quad. And that action led to HBQs 20-0 run. And score went all the way up to 90-43 when it was 6min left. Solaris got quads every now and then and tried to take over BFG-lift with it, but bubkez and Spam didn't let them surprise. Gerdt totally dominated mega health, and he was also the best player on this map. Last minute started in HBQs 60 frag lead, so this map was pretty easy for them, especially when they managed to control BFG-lift last 18min.

This map should be more interesting. Solaris have played this more than HBQ and they have proved that they know how to play this. But still HBQ have individual skill advantage, which might be the key in this pretty new map. You never know what is going to happened. Let's hope that Solaris would at least give a great fight on this one, so it wouldn't be as one sided as dm2 was, and dm3 will be after this one. Well HBQ seems to give some mercy here, since arch hopped in with very jumpy and high ping (70-120). Zorre and Gerdt started strong while Digital was struggling at mega health. Solaris was controlling Quad area, where cboy and zyclop was with their rockets. Unlucky for them HBQ still managed to get first quads .Play of the map was made by cboy who shot two long range rockets and with both of them he killed his teammate. So there went quad area control. Score still stayed pretty even, 34-29 after 5min. And next quad went to zyclop but he was with low health and died pretty soon. If Im not totally wrong HBQ was playing 2 at quad area and 2 at Mega. I don't know is that the best tactic on this map? Oh well, it doesnt seem to suck too much since they are still holding the lead. HBQ Still had 5 frags lead when it was little over 10min to go. This map seems to be exactly what I hoped for. And looks like I was mistaken with HBQs tactic, or maybe they moved 3rd player to the quad area, dont know. Finally Solaris tied the game when it was 9min left. After that they were changing frags. 1 frag difference like 2min, until Solaris took a little spurt and took huge 5 frags lead when it was 6min left. But they couldn't hold it long, because quadwhore Gerdt took over and led HBQ to 2 frags lead. But once again Solaris tied the game fast. Gerdt also got next quad but unable to score with it and reason was because he had only blaster. 4th last minute was Solaris' minute. They got 6 more frags than HBQ did and took a small lead, but once again during next 30 seconds HBQ tied and took few frags lead instead. 2min left and score was 120-113 for HBQ who started final spurt which seemed to work well. Their lead went up to 14 when it was 1min left. And was only getting bigger. Very nice effort from Solaris, but this time HBQ was better on this map. Very thrilling game and nice to spec, I hope to see more maps like this in future. Final score 141-123 for HBQ.

No chances to lineups, so dm3 was ready to begin, as soon as they write ready.... it was very hard again, but wision finally did it! Gerdt got invu and someone took quad, but died with it at rail. Gerdt took 2nd quad with 100/100. And this game was as rape as I expected or maybe even more rape. Score after 2min was 23-0 to HBQ and fragfest was on. 3min played score 35-0... Finally Solaris got some kills and took some kind of control over SSG-area. And zyclop even got quad but he didn't do any damage with it. Score after 5min was 51-8 to HBQ, even tho zyclop was getting quads. Gerdt got 2nd invu too and helped HBQ to keep on fragging. There is not much to write about this. HBQ totally dominating this map, and Solaris didn't stand a change against them. Railed by, railed by, railed by and some ssg and some rockets by HBQ. But that is about it. Score after 10min was 102-23 for HBQ. Finally something positive happened to Solaris when Digital got 3rd invu and made some frags with it, but when his immortality was gone railing continued. Or maybe Digitals invu run helped Solaris because after that they made 25-5 run and it was only 60 frag game! 4th and final invu went to gerdt, but this time Solaris was waiting him and railed him to lava! 3.30 left and score was 124-72 for HBQ. But then again HBQ found rails and boredom began. Like 30 straight railfrags from HBQ and lead jumped to 161-80 and 1min left. This map was boring as hell because of HBQs great start. Final score was 174-84.
HBQ did great job on their home maps and managed to win Solaris on q2next1 after hard fight. Overall these maps went exactly like planned. Congratulation to HBQ, and thanks to both clans. And good luck to games in future.
