Another quite interesting game, the well-known finnish Kontula versus the fearsome 3M from Poland. Game went pretty smoothly, if you don't count the 680 spectators connected to the server and 2 hours of chatting before the game actually begun. And oh, Ibogine, who's ping was 130+ had to be replaced by Ginus, who's ping was... 130+.

Game started out equally as usual in dm2, when people go for the nearest weapon and try to secure some position. After a minute the score was 5:5. Bring it on! There isn't much to say about this match. 3M seemed to hold a steady 15 frag lead over KTA at all times. They weren't dominating, but they were comfortably ahead of KTA. In the end, one minute to go, KTA was behind 105:117, but unfortunately they couldn't make a comeback, because they secured RA and 3M got the last quad.

This map started out quite bad for 3M, as KTA made a nice 5:-1 boost in the beginning seconds. But of course, the game was just beginning. For about the first 8 minutes KTA managed to hold 3M at bay, but then their strength gave in. 3M took the lead now. It seemed like everything was gone for KTA. But... KTA starts to get back in the game. 3 minutes to go and they are behind only by 3 frags! The last minutes were REALLY intense. 30 seconds to go and the score is 124:126! But then... poles do it again to the finnish (sounds kinkier than it actually is). In the last 30 seconds, Kontula's hopes are crushed as they get no frags and 3M secures another victory.
3M wins 126:132.

q2dm3 was as intense as the dm1 game between 2.0 and t0k. Mind-blowing :). Hopefully more matches like these are on the horizon.
