It is time for first semifinal match for this season. And what could be better way to start them than
2.0 vs
play.

So we will start with q2dm1, because 2.0 was better ranked in group stage.
I think this dm1 should go to 2.0s favor. They are well known railing team with players like Damiah raskal and Turricane. Tho play isn't much weaker railing team either
but I think their biggest power is in quadding, and no quad on dm1 as you all should know by now.
Anyway game started and after 2min 2.0 had 25-10 lead. But after game got really going play took over a room. Hirzu got a very bad start, he had 1/11 stats when play started to catch up 2.0s early lead. 15.19 left and game was back in a tie and play had pretty much everything under control. But one decently organized attack gave room control back to 2.0, during the time play had room they managed to build little under 10 frag lead.
But they fastly saw it going away, and it changed to 2.0s five frag lead but it fastly changed again to 2.0 favor. Looks like everybody have rails and when they got killed then other team gets rails, so whos turn it is to hold rails is doing all the fragging.
I would say that is pretty normal on railonly dm1. Anyway 10min left and score has stayed very even pretty much whole map. At that point score was 67-66 for play who had room control. Top fragger for play was shugg and hirzu who both had 21 frags after 11min. From 2.0 side Damiah also had 21 frags.
It took a while but finally I saw some unrailing actions, shugg with ssg and hirzu with rockets... seems like they should do it more often since that gave them 15 frag lead in no time. Then again control at room changed and play removed their army to rail when 2.0 was boosting at room or tried to make sneak attacks from SSG. Tho that didn't work too well and frag difference got stuck to ~10 frags and game changed to camping.
3.30 left play still had about 7 frag lead, but 2.0 was getting closer... they got it to 2 when it was 3min left and it pretty much stayed there next 2min. 1.10 left play got control and their lead went up to 13 in 20 seconds, and by holding their positions during last 30ssec they won first map.
Finalscore: 136-125POTG: Shugg, nice railkeeping, which is imo the hardest position to hold on dm1

Next it was time for plays map, which was q2dm3. And honestly I don't think 2.0 have too much chances here. But we will see.
Game started and play got both invu and quad. But they didn't really make any damage with them. Next quad was also taken by play and I think it was ph who took it, not sure. I was waiting him to frag Turricane to see who had a quad, but he missed 6 SSG shots (must have been ph!) and during that Turricane was blasted by Shugg.
4th quad was taken by ph for sure, and this time he had mg and killed both 2.0 players who tried to steal it from him. But as expected 2.0 doesnt seem to have a change on this map, after 4min play had solid 48-12 lead and all quads were taken by play. And rail was controlled by Hirzu.
Good thing for 2.0 was that Deuce was camping at invu and he got it. And he made a nice run with it, even tho he didn't kill Hirzu from rail, which was a mistake. But because of invu 2.0 got next quad and it launched a comeback. 7min played and play had 67-35 lead and they have regained control at SSG, so comeback didn't work out too well for 2.0.
9min played and score was 81-39 for play and I can't see how 2.0 could win this anymore. 3rd invu was also taken by 2.0 and this time it was Damiah who fragged few guys with it. 13min played and score is 111-58 for play. I'm not surprised that play is leading but Im a bit surprised that their lead is 50 frags. Topfragger is Hirzu with 38 frags when it was 5min left. Shugg got the next and final invu and plays lead was up to 80. Play made like 20 straight frags and what can I say they are really going strong to Euroq2l-6 div1 finals. This map was totally dominated by play and when their frag fest was over score was 213-87.
Finalscore: 213-87POTG: I think I would say ph, even tho fragging blasterguys with quad SSG isnt suppose to be too challenging.

3rd map and 2.0s second map is q2dm7, where they normally are strong. But raskal refuses to play here just like he refused to play on dm3, so no lineup changes for 2.0. Without raskal I don't think they can beat play here either. And also slippi would be welcome to hold upper-rl.
After Shugg finished watching porn (according to pogo) we were good to go. 2.0 got early control at armor but Hirzu threw some grenades and they were dead and ready for respawn. After 3min game was pretty much a tie, and play had RA control. And then comes an interesting 4th minute, I was specing ph who was jumping around armor area and only 1 2.0 player attacked. Wonder what was that about, after that game normalized and attacks were followed by other attacks. But 2.0 didn't manage to take armor to themselves. So, because of good armor keeping play had 20 frag lead at 8min mark.
After long control play lost armor, but even they didnt have it they didnt let 2.0 boost their players. Their continuous attacks made hard damage to 2.0 and in 2-3min play got armor back. 9min left and score was 93-71 for play, who just got armor control.
Plays lead stayed at 20 for few minutes, until 2.0 got strong control at armor and fraghunting began. plays lead was getting smaller when boosted 2.0 was running around in slimy place. "HOLD" and Shugg says telephone, but I think it was a panic button, like a timeout in ice hockey when your team starts to suck, since at that point their lead was down to 10 and there was still 5min left. It clearly helped since after the break play made 10 straight frags and at 4min mark their lead was up to 134-109 and it was really looking good for them. After that plays lead was only getting bigger, 1˝ min left and lead was up to 40 and game was pretty much over, just like 2.0 season... or well maybe there is a bronze match left.
Final score: 173-128POTG This time it has to be Hirzu, who controlled armor with ph, but he fragged more so I will say Hirzu!
