As I opened my EYE at 20:00 there were already eA players on a server practising. There were some old faces like Nace and FETTSON, still they barely managed to win against a mix team. play gathered on another server and warmed up a bit among themselves instead. wision was finding a GTV, then server search followed. So the early preparing promised a good game, atleast something interesting to watch.

play picked Q2DM1 and Q2DM2, while eA hoped to sneak a point or two at Q2DM3 or Q2NEXT1. As play guys were the home team their map followed first, and the game began...

...and it began without so awaited GTV. Moreover it was a tragic knockdown in the first minutes. After a few minutes the score was 90:9 for play, and everybody started talking that there will be no chance for eA. "<U-God> 3:-1 imo..." that was the moods after first minutes... Then eA raised up a bit and managed to frag more, but still it was a tipical play's rape on The Edge. purri had 45% rail accuracy, which is high for him according to Assasin, and not so many just 79 frags, more than the whole eA team. Second in play was another dream player Damiah with 68 frags, the rest did also very well. As for eA, as Stuff said they were chatting and joking on vent and didn't really try much.



The next map was The Frag Pipe, home map of eA. Though you reall can't call it your homemap when you play against purri and Pogo there. Anyway eA had one of the best quadkeepers there, Nace, so they might had had a chance. In the end it turned out they didn't. Again quite a rape by play. Especially on rail, which was owned by purri. In quad area play had some problems since eA sometimes tried to get all four players there. Again top scorer was purri, then mobius, who played solidly, and the Frag Pipe master Pogo. Optimizer this time was some kind of a weak link. In eA Stuff emerged with best scores, trying to play smart, guarding invulnerability and so on. Others where more or less attacking, dieing, attacking, dieing...



Last but not least rape was on the Tokay Towers. play controlled the lift side of the map from the very beginning to the very end. Scores of purri and mobius represent that very well. eA on the whole didn't manage to get a single frag for almost three minutes. After that they tried to put a fight at quad, but not really successfully. In general their game was "sad" according to Foen, and Stuff agreed on that after the match. pmastah basically did nothing but standing, the others didn't try that much either.



So the first semifinal has been played, and the favorite of the whole cup, play, is already waiting their opponents in the finals! That will be Wizards or HBQ. As for now, GG, and lets wait for the second semi while watching purri's ownage.
