Old glory vs. Newcomers! We all like that kind of match ain't we? We all remember the most anticipated box match ever: Rocky Balboa versus Yvan Drago! We could compare this Q2 match to that cinema legend (or maybe not?). Two-Point-o hasn't been at the top of their shape lately while 3c has skyrocketed to the top in a very short time. Will the old farts bitchslap the new kids on the block? Read the whole story behind this match...
Two point o - one of the best known clans in the q2scene. They dont have same lineup as they had in the previous seasons. They've lost some players because of q4 (eg. optimizer) and inactive of some (eg. deuce), but HEY! xircuit is back after long break. Is he as good as he was in past? We dont know yet. But we are sure about one thing they have the will to win the whole season. In the last season of eq2l, 2.0 couldnt show their best. There were smallest groups ever and they didnt have time to show their teamplay and individual skills. They've finished the 4th eq2l at the 3rd (out of 5) place with two wins, one loss and one given w/o. The two-point-os situation in other european leagues - clanbase q2 cup (fall '05) was completly different. Clanbase's groups weren't so big, but 2.0 did very well. Maybe they were more motivated... Anyway they finished it at the first place of their group (division 1, group B; hbq, solaris, ak, sng, ok) with four wins and one tie. They advanced to the premier league playoffs, but in first playoffs game (quarter finals) they've been owned by a polish clan - Team On-Line Killers. So the fact is they've finished the cup on 5-6th place. Not bad, but will they beat one of best polish clans nowadays?
I dont think anyone knew something about them before the previous euroq2l's season and they made quite a surprise last time. They won their group (group A: wd, weed, KPD, SB, mdt) in the second division. Because they finished the group stage at the first place they didnt have to play the quarterfinals and they went directly to the semifinals, where they had to face the strongest russian team - Elite Force aka Russian national team. 3cs beat the Russians in three maps and they advanced to the second division finals. To win the second division, they had to beat Team On-line Killers. Unfortunately for them, toks were in their best shape and there were no way to win against danka's players. Anyway they've finished the fourth euroq2l's season at second place in the second division. In the same time they were winning in euroq2l, they OWNED second division in plq2! They are the only clan which won _ALL_ the maps they played! One week before the league ended, they had 23 points advantage! They are now sure to advance into the first division of PLQ2.
As you can see, their team is one of the best in Europe. But are they leet enough to beat the finnish legend ?
