Hello everyone!
It's time to announce the start of playoffs of EuroQ2L-5! But first, I want to say
big thank you for all the clans that played their matches on time (or even at the
last minute, but still played). That goes for big names like Wizard as well as
the nice dudes at ECF. By playing your games you've helped to make our league
better and helped in keeping Q2 alive. For that you all deserve a big friendly
slap on the butt (like soccer players, you know).
As announced before, total of 24 clans will enter playoffs to determine their
status in the Q2 scene. Every clan will play 3 matches in playoffs and every
match will decide if you go higher or lower so be ready from the first match on.
Rules are simple.
BFG 1 (always)
TP 2 (always)
You **CAN** choose maps in playoffs, which are like always "best of five".
q2dm1, q2dm2, q2dm3, q2dm5, q2dm6, q2dm7, q2dm8, q2next1 and q2next2 are all
availible.
Round 1 will go like this (method a1+b2, b1+c2, c1+d2, d1+a2)
"Golden playoffs" (Places 1-8)

All "golden" games must have admins present! So if you schedule a game, let an
admin know. For "silver" and "bronze", admin is only needed in irc to find a neutral
server and announce maps.
ALL ROUND 1 GAMES MUST BE PLAYED BY 4TH OF JUNE - YOU HAVE ONE WEEK, so we finish this league before people travel to grandma's to eat strawberries. | |
