Welcome to the 14th season of EuroQ2L! This season we will most likely follow the same layout as last season, but we will let you know for sure just before signups are closed.

Time is running out and since there was noone qualified and really willing to run the league, I ( flag

wision) took over this league one more time. My right hand will be flag

biah and the rest of the crew is yet to be decided. Thankfuly there are still people willing to be match admins!

Rules are not final yet and you will be notified about the changes before signups are closed which will be on 25th of September. Here's the ! If you need to create new clan or change your clan's squad contact admins.

	You are a hard man to talk to thaigo, I guess I have to use baby language to make you understand since you have a hard time to read between the lines.. It was not a question, I was ironic. Like I did not know it's not your job to write the rules. But you said you wanted to help. So the question was very simple but you failed to answer it. My point is, you complain about the rules and say you wanted to help, how come we never got any help about the rules from your side? Since apparently you have a lot of issues with them. It can't be that hard to understand, oh I am talking to you, why am I not surprised... (sound familiar?) 	Yeh you have surely found "loopholes" in the rules, and used them, nice help . And you never came forward with problems in the rules until as I said, you used them to piss people off. Nice one, really, THANKS! I can't believe you even said that... Run leagues myself? Why would I ever want to run a league by myself? I run it with OTHERS. And there has never been any reason for me to run a league all by myself which I thank other admins for since I have usually been involved in several things at the same time. I don't have that much time. I've done interviews, articles, I have been a part of eq2l, edl, 2x2?, nidml, 2x2insta(outside the scene community), I have done work for Clan base as well in the past . Anything to keep the scene alive and anything the scene have requested. Now wtf are we competing like children who has done the most suddenly? . And no I did not bring it up, you started comparing and you asked. And no wonder it went well when you ran a league by yourself, you were in the admin crew when you ran the league, so no one was fucking around and making your life as an admin miserable... And yeh for whatever you have done, now if it is even one simple thing, or just one league or 50 leagues. It's appreciated and will always be. And it's never a MUST to do anything. 	I agree 100% with gravgon but I was to lazy to write... he wrote it much nicer than I would tho when I sad to some of my real life m8s that I play q2 in a league, they give me a funny looks, like "wtf r u serious?", so 21 clans are pretty good for this prehistoric game... we should all thank admins for that... so.. 	@to Masteris We had the same idea @plq2, last season, it doesnt work im affraid, max players limit 4-7 or 10-16 wont change anything, we checked that allready mate , maybe you will get 1 or 2 extra clans, but thats it. Plq2 admins tryed that and it just doesnt works. Anyway, you have to remember that some clans have a lot of members "like rebels for example" coz maybe they need em, you have to remeber that quake2 isnt so important, it is an old game, most of us play this fucking game for a very long time (12 years like me fe), we are not 15-20 y old anymore, a lot of people here got jobs, kids etc, normal life, q2 is just a hobby or whatever. My point is, that sometimes its hard to get 4 ppl even when you got 12 or 16 signed, my [H] clan used to work like that, a lot of players signed but it was a miracle to get a 4 for a league game, avg age was around 25 or more and our players just didnt care about it anymore, real life is more important. Are you stupid dude?". i have a better theory on why less people play q2 nowadays: players are getting older. Many of them are pushing 30 and it's getting hard to find time to practice and play matches. Q2 hasn't attracted new players for years now so it's the same old farts who sign up to the league every season. You can't expect every one of them to have the same amount of free time as they did when they were 16. Like I said, I'm wondering why they decided to leave exactly now and that I got my opinion why that is. There is still 20 clans signed up for this season and it is 2010, now who would have thought that back in 2001? The major reason for Q2's long lasting life have been the major work of admins during all these years and wision is one of the biggest reasons for Q2's so called "extra lifetime". This game would have been gone with the wind many years ago otherwise. Since q2 never got to be the most popular game in the quake series thanks to it's not so nubfriendly game play. If your explanation of the only reasonable reason to this "sudden" drop of interest in Q2, is that people are fed up with the admin attitude then you have not given it to much thought. The only explanation you got is due to your personal vendetta. And that seems very clear. Now 100 players is gone with the wind. This I know, i wouldn't stop playing q2 because of the admins, and if I got a 100 other players that would have been fed up with the admins I would either make an own league with the other 100 players and I bet the rest would follow. OR I would have spoken to the admins and said that there is a 100 players not wanting to participate in any of the q2 scene leagues thanks to the admins, and ill give you my word all of the admins would have backed off and offered their "jobs". As many of us even did thanks to you and you homies but no one wanted it. So that removes their rights to whine as they did not want to get their hands dirty. Something I have learned after many years of admining leagues is that, what ever decision you make, it will always make a part of the players unsatisfied and pissed off. 15 clans being unhappy with the admins would never go unnoticed. What have been noticed is that there is/was a group of players (~10 of them) that was not happy with the admins. This is how i see it and i know the admins have always been open-minded for any kind of changes as long as the majority supports it. An individual or an handful of players or even two handful's of players can not change the rules and the support of the majority. And your history or legacy as an q2 player does not give special rights to change things. It's the majority that rules, not the individual. And we clearly saw what the majority thought about things the past season. Enough said and there is no other way I can try to give you some peace to your mind. At least I try. That's all I can do. And all this is my personal view of things and it does not mean other admins support it. Good luck to you thg with whatever you are going to do.

	For your information: Ql has been here for almost 2 years now so that reason doesnt quite apply. I'm not saying I was a popular one, but maybe it's time for admins(wision specially) to look into mirror. Many ppl got fed up with their attitude and that "admin is always right" shit. They are just not willing to put up with that shit anymore and neither am I. That's the only reasonable explanation I can think of why all of a sudden third of the clans stopped playing, div1 is no more, no more servers and all that. Last seasons happenings were just too much.

	I agree with Masteris a lot, there should be a limit of how many players a singel clan can sign up for the league. 6-7 players should be enough. Thaigo I am sorry I am bothering you, but do you actually think that the reason why EQ2L is getting smaller has something to do with you? I mean, do you actually think that 15 clans/~100 players quit Q2 because you got "fucked" by the admins? I hate to be the guy to say it to you, but in all honesty, you weren't THAT popular. PS: Purris attitude and "sportsmanship" is something special and rare. And something we all should emulate and admire. (when he looses to pogo in duels is not included though)

	Nice to hear Slippi. I was mainly wondering and hoping some of you still would consider to play. It's been summer, myself included have probably not played more than 2 nights with my clan, but that was since they were on LAN and we had a great time. I kind of agree with Masteris. We talked about the very same thing with play>. Could be a idea to force clans that have very many active members to reduce the numbers and perhaps get more clans? Not sure, but there is no need to have 8-10 active players in one clan. I check the PLQ2TDM from last season and there are more than 10 clans still not signed up from there. Perhaps they will, perhaps they wont, but there are some potential clans out there still. Try to think bigger than own motivations and grudges. Without #euroq2l we would not have anything left. If it's Wision or Thaigo himself running it, I would sign my clan to it for the sake of Q2's survival and nothing else I just wished a few more would think in those terms, or at least come with good ideas that would lead to a good change, and also provide the necessary help that would be required rather than leave negative comments and then think everything will solve by it self. 	Purri, I know u didnt name Wizards, but top finnish players was the same as Wizards...And don't bother naming inactive damiah or raskal when ure asking for a clan from Finland. One inactive + raskal don't make a clan. Last season was more or less the end of an era for Q2, u can clearly see it in serverslist and signups. Only 19 clans compared to normal ~30...But that ain't even the worst part. I can only see 3, max 4 clans that are div1 worthy in signups today. Wonder why it happened now... Edited: 2010-09-24 06:16

	I want to say my opinion about it all since ppl missing more clans. There is not much clans signed up and seems like not more than few clans will sign up till the end of sign ups. Imho the league is more interesting when there is many clans participate and league last longer. But earler and now i was allways interested why 70-80% of clans have ~8-9 active members? - look at signed clans now - only few clans have a normal members count 4-7 players. Other clans have more - i dont count players like Cleaner and Feeble who is active(with ) in 2 clans and i dont count INACTIVE players. Some clans have 11 and even 16 ACTIVE members - example rebels have a squad of 4 clans - i doubt league allows to play 4x16 cause i am afraid - all spawns can be covered! Ofc. its a joke, honestly i dont have anything against any clan it simply looks strange to me. Maybe better to make a new rule - "max players in clan 6-7?" it can cause: - More participate clans = more active q2. - Less bench players = more trainings, pcw's. - Longer league = more interesting. - Same players in squad = better tp. Only my opinion*

	Wizards only proved how unprofessoinal in experience terms they are for quitting q2 for petty reasons. They need to grow some balls. Secondly, be thankful for the admins because without them the q2scene would be nothing but a bunch of arogant cunts running around what little servers would be available and causing trouble. I would like to see Wizards back myself but not if they are going to complain about such triviality.
