Three teams took wildcard last week which means that they have to play their round 1 games this week. The teams which took wc are  [PRO],  ecf and xF. As soon you have scheduled your round one game be sure to tell an admin immediatly.
These two round 1 games need to be scheduled and played this week:
X-Force vs  immortal players
Rage vs Elders Clan Federation
We also got one unscheduled game between  Clan Disable and Elite Mates. This game will be forced to TUESDAY 25/9 21.00 cet! Its ok to play this game earlier then this date and time if you want to. Since the game is forced you wont have any wildcard to use. So be sure to get your team avalaible for the game.

The groups have been added and the rules will remain the same as last season. You play each clan in your group TWICE. So hereby we declare the eight season of the European Quake 2 League opened! You may now start to schedule your games, the groups are visible on your right. Most importantly the admins would like to wish all the participating clans good luck, and remember to have fun and be good to each other mkay? :)
PS. is a list with all the currently allowed servers. Remember, all games HAVE to be played on anticheat-servers!
EDIT: IS and EF will switch divisions since IS didnt want to play in div1!!
EDIT2: CD joined to DIV 1a and another clan might join to DIV 1b, if they manage to gather enough players, but more about that later...
EDIT3: The polish clan MDT decided to leave the league because of an inactive team. They will be replace by 3c!!
EDIT4: Owned decided to leave the league because of an inactive team.

The signups for eq2l-8 are now open! Don't miss this chance for eternal fame and glory, head to the right now to get a spot in the best (and only) q2 tdm league! Clans of all skill levels are welcome, we will decide the number of groups and the play system depending on how the signups turn out. The seventh season of this league has now come to an end and it's time to announce the final standing and to give out a couple of shoutouts and thanks!
Overall I think we can say the league went quite smoothly with many nice matches and of course its fair share of usual dramas. Here is now the final standing:
