I would like to welcome you to the fifth season of the European Quake2 League. The fourth season has ended more than one month ago and I hope you are still ready to play in the new one!
After the fourth season, I have been chosen to be supervisor of the upcoming - fifth - one. It should have begun a week or two earlier, but I was offline.
Now I'm back to make quake2 still alive and begin a brand new season!
Schedule:
- 13th Feb: Signups opened.
- 23rd Feb: Deadline for signups!
- 24th Feb: Groups and Roster online and the league starts.
Rules:
The rules didn't change at all, they just have been regrouped under different points to get a cleared tournament layout. ()
The crew:
The crew is not estabilished yet. I'm waiting for some confirmation of former crew members to know wether they want to continue working as an EQ2L admin.
I will post a news whenever I'm aware of who still want to be an admin, and maybe some admins will be needed.
Signups:
As in the previous season, this time we ARE NOT going to use the website signups system. The only way to sign a clan up to the fifth season is or contact me via irc. Correct message includes: full name, tag, who is cl, irc channel.

Congratulations to tOk for winning the second division!
Here's the final playoff tree, happy new year to all and hopefully we meet again in a 5th edition of euroq2l!
Gravgon edit: I just wanted to thank all the admins who helped with this season of Euroq2l and especially and without the one the league wouldn't have come to an proper end.

It went fast, it went smooth and it went their way!
 HBQ has just beatten  Wizards in the final of division1 in a one-sided (yet very intense) game.

The Estonian clan stop won the 3rd division last night by beating Polish clan xD in a clean and close game. Report . They haven't lost a map in this league, and will be competing in div2 next season! Congratulations!
In division 1 the final is coming up with HBQ facing wizards.
Last but not least the second division is up to its semifinals with plus vs tok and ef vs 3c. I would like to remind plus and tok to schedule their game before christmas!
Again, congrats stop and good luck to the other clans. |
