Another grim day for euroq2l has arrived. As many of you have noticed there has been a polemic about the  [xeno] vs *kob* game. In particular some q2scene users were surprised by the outcome of this game (a 3:0 win by *kob*) but mostly by the performance of Soulwax from *kob*. A simple IP check during the game gave us a controversial result first proving that "Soulwax" was really dutch as he was supposed to be. Soulwax wasn't in IRC during and after the game and appeared only the next day but did not react to requests to send demos... |

The crew has decided to arrange an allstar showgame in a near future, but we need your help!
Down on your right is a poll where you can vote for your favourite player out of 12 options. These 12 finalists were selected by asking 4 players from each div1 clan + the admin crew to give 2 names each, and the top 12 are now availible for everyone registered on q2scene to vote for. So help us out and make this allstar game something to remember!
The top 8 players from this poll will be split into 2 teams, which will then play a thrilling best of five-game where all 5 maps will be played regardless of the mapscore. The admin crew will make an effort to create evenly matched teams from the chosen players and we are looking forward to seeing who will be selected by you!

Greetings every1. The group round is over and playoff pairs are made according to the placing in groups. Unfortunately many walkovers occured druring last weeks of group stare and mixed up expected positioning of clans in groups. Here is a brief report on upcoming div2 playoffs. Playoffs are here and we got many interesting games already in first playoff round. Remember that playoff games is played in best of 5 maps. As usual schedule your games and tell date and time to an admin when scheduled. Since there is holiday coming up this round will be a few days longer. The deadline will be sunday 11/4 2300cet. The polish players David and Pepek will receive warnings for their lame behaviour in the game against BAM.
We also got a lot of unscheduled games left from previous rounds. All games will be forced to monday 22/3 2100cet! except 3 games which are forced 1 hour earlier.
It is ok to play earlier or after as long as its scheduled and told to an admin. If not these dates and times are the deadline and will be wo if a team doesnt show up.
