Since all games will be forced in advance, we're going to give you a chance to avoid playing times that don't suit you. This newspost is your chance to let us know when you're available to play. Please post a reply where you clearly state when you are able to play your game and when you are unreachable. Please post the best time you can play as well. According your wishes we will try to make groups not only by making them as fair as possible, but also by taking care of people's best time to play.

Homemaps

If someone choose a map in group e.g during 1 round, no one is able to pick the same map during the next rounds from same group in GROUP STAGE
As you can see, if you have an idea to play one or other map as your homemap in next rounds, you might be disappointed because other players can choose that same map earlier. So your map will be "stolen". To avoid this, you can reveal your secret top maps by posting them here in a comment. This way no one will be able to pick that map because you might choose it to play in 4 round! It's all your choice. Ofcourse you can save your secrets but don't whine if someone chooses that map before you do.
If you wish, simply reply with a message like this:
My map choices:
Round 1: tga1
Round 2: ddrace
Round 3: etc, etc..
For playoffs and finals maps read rules.
Leavers
Chances are some players won't show up during their group games. This means this player will miss just one round game. Nevertheless, his group will play 5 maps, not 4. The map which should have been the one chosen by the missing player, will be replaced by a random map.
To do this, type: MAPVOTE RANDOM.
We think it's fair because this way all players have the same chance to play their one of top maps. Its all luck. Please do remember, that RANDOM map won't count as someone's homemap, so it won't affect anything. It's only that the missing player will have less chances to get through to the playoffs. Try to do your best and be on time every week. | |
