The Grand Final in 3rd Quake2 Jump Tournament was played. After six maps we found the best currently playing player- the 2nd Jump tournament winner  nasty. Winner of 2 jump tournaments in a row showed that he saved his skills/talents and in a decent fight proved he is still on the top of the JumpMod. Just 2 points behind stayed  APKIS who had a potential to win but
his NICEST jump is not yet done. And only 2 points behind from APKIS were  Goblin who was around to win, but the lack of luck didnt let him to show off.
Final standing
Gold: nasty 37 pts
Silver: APKIS 35 pts
Bronze: Goblin 33 pts

The 4th place after 6 maps was still a free slot. Two players, drk and ads had the same amount of points and had to play one more map. In just 5 mins Cruel Battle, ads second time proved he is worth WOOD and beat drk. Other pole GreenJumper missed 3 first maps and he didnt get a chance to compete for highest places.
Wood: ads 31 pts
5th place: drk 30 pts
6th place: GreenJumper 6 pts
The Game
The 3rd Quake 2 Jump Tournament started with following players: nasty ads drk APKIS Goblin. The 6th player GreenJumper joined us in the middle of the game.
The final began with 2 fast APKIS victories in first 2 maps. On the second map, according to jump admin  Lmty, APKIS manage to be faster than the best replay on public Wireplay server. However, APKIS ownage ended in next map- ariejump29. nasty described this map as the best from arie series and he proved it very quickly - first place with unbeatable time. Although Goblin tried to show about himself, he wasnt able to beat nasty, who got faster time than on Wireplay public server (according to jump admin Lmty). This just proved that players were really ready for the tournament. The leader APKIS got only 4th place and the different in points melted.
The 4rd map was the best what drk could get- his homemap in groupstages hellfire_65. That he is strong in this tricky and long map with a lot of rooms, we saw in quite fast time- drk was the first who finished this map and he stayed first till the end of the map. After this map leaders didnt changed- just the lead by APKIS a bit decreased.
All players except APKIS wanted reject 5th map, so it was a hope that current leader gonna increase his lead. The things went in different way. nasty manage to beat this map while Goblin stayed 2nd , so the top3 leaders changed: nasty became 1st, APKIS 2nd and Goblin 3rd.
GreenJumpers accepting the last map was like a green card for nasty to be the winner. Really hard map for only 15 mins bubjump1. APKIS few times was only 3 jumps till the end but nothing more. No information about others, just drk should be a bit sad after this map. He was near the very end of the map- RailGun, but felt in the simple place felt together with a chance to win whole competition (well , no new Turkish :) ).
Thanks a lot for participating, I really had fun to play (I hope you too) in a whole tournament. Lets wait till the small final- it must bring some nice moments too!
