We're getting close to starting the tournament, but we have some questions for you players before we start setting up the groups..
We've been talking about playing only one round in the group-stages (just like we've always done in the semi-finals and finals)... Usually it has been two rounds, but since there are like twice as many players this season, we think it will be not only better to play one round, but also less time-consuming!
The experience from previous seasons is that the 2nd round of the group-stages, doesn't really matter that much! Maybe one or two players get lucky and pass trough, just because one of the top 4 from the 1st round, doesn't show up for the 2nd round.. It's also sad if a player makes a really good 1st round, but has to go to work the 2nd round, so he falls trough, and doesn't make it to the finals..
On a second note, this season we will probably have a quarter-final stage, which will also make the tournament longer than usual..
Therefore, we ask you mighty players, should we only have
