The sign-ups of #8 Quake 2 Jump Tournament are now open. Depending on the amount of signed player, some information about divisions, money prizes and some other info may appear in the news.
The tournament starts around 30th of January.

	Ohh sorry i'll miss this tournament. Now i'm in UK and is impossible to play with my netbook... very shit fps 25-30 Sure,.. this season will be very interesting, and i'll watching every one game. 	I'm pretty sure my 1st on WP on arie55 is under 200, but if it's not I can always do it before the tournament . Rl won't sing up for sure, saix hopefully will, he's 2nd or 3rd best jumper in the world in my opinion. Nook always signs up My exams happen to be at the end of January - pretty damn good reason not to sign up, isnt it? PS: brikete - I know you're a jump admin You talk like one, but do I know u (r u draxi)? I should announce a money prize for a person who can tell me who he is. 	sof: I don't think we will see RL in this tourney....he never signs, claims to be not good enough, which is not true. Any player who can beat a nookie time, as I've seen he managed, is without doubt pr0. And Saix wasn't happy with the previous #7 jump tourney, so I don't think he will sign this time. Too bad, 2 great jumpers missing.

	Arie55 is not forbidden to pick. I just think other players in your group wouldn't be very happy about that pick. Normally, jumpers want to try map or finish it atleast like 3-5 times. Thats makes it competetive and really fun. For pro jumpers, arie55 wouldnt be a big deal for sure Have in mind, everything is decided according to wp stats. Arie55 in wireplay server is like 200s, so it doesnt break any law.

	Kropp: I agree about the aries, all should be included minus the forbidden ones ofc. a55 is actually quite easy. Long, but easy and it is an arie map, so highly enjoyable as well. The only part some ppl might get frustrated about would be the "Ice jump" near the end with one square of ice only and a ramp taking u up to the next part/room. I always had mega trouble with it b4. I mostly hate ice, so I don't fully understand it yet, but I always did it wrong in the past, I've now figured its secret to succeed. So even that jump is quite easy if u can deal with ice good enough....I guess most can (jumpers). Then there is maybe 1 or 2 fps trick jumps that can be annoying, sometimes u do it in one try, other times in 20 tries at least! that can definitely screw a good time. But definitely overall it's a very nice challenging map that is easy enough, long in a good way (few map makers like arie can master that sort of maps), and lotsa fun. But I suppose it will break the 300 second rule? Maybe it can be an exception? This should be confirmed by the admins. PS: siema! sign up already Kropp Draxi should sign too. (and nookie!!!! )

	apart from aries with moving object and rl/grenade launcher all the others should be allowed - there are no really hard aries, plenty of people could complete arie55 in like 10 mins if they tried hard

	ariejump49 -> moving stuff. Not allowed. ariejump53 -> rocket jumping. Not allowed ariejump55 is pretty long, but its not forbidden to take it. Just you won't gain any Karma points for choosing such long map. Good thing is that its easy map... Other ariemaps should be ok. Just remember-> no weapon jumps, no moving stuff on maps.

	tei : 4.5 However, admin can reject a map that is not suitable for playing due to some reasons: only can be finished using weapons, never has been finished, finishing requires enormous time amounts (above 300 seconds), can be finished in less than 10 seconds. so some of the arie maps will not be in the league
