I would just like to say that some maps were completed by every single player, or almost everyone. It would be ridiculous if all the maps were easy, some must be slightly harder. Also, players can skip up to 4 maps. First map was only played because someone voted yes and same thing applies to the last map.
yes you are right but i think there should be map where everyone can make his best. For other players this map can be unkown and then they have to show "off skill on no particular map". However you have also two random picks.
jump mod is about showing off skill on no particular map but virtually any map u can complete. this new way is better cuz it is not "extra" beneficial to one certain player on every map, even simpler.
faint: I disagree, when players pick their own maps they usually end up way much weirder than the maps we played today. + it wasn't random but maps picked by admins from 100 pre selected maps designed for div2 (but was alt4 really one of them? tho i have to agree the map was doable, i could finish this map but prolly in an hour or two. still, most would agree it was more of a div1 map. 1st map was easier yet no one could finish it ..haha, and it was just my luck; I fell in the last room just a relatively short distance to the teleport that would lead me to the gun definitely before the time would ran out. .. so in contrast, I don't think alt4 belonged to div2 within a 15 minute TL battling).

for some players there i cant say, but for most of those in this group you can say it is sure bet i will be last but i will take olympic medal for participating
