Now that the sign-ups for the jump tournament #9 are over, it is time to announce the groups for the first stage of the tournament. They can be seen on the right side of the webpage. And here is the schedule for the group stage:
Group A: Thursday, May 22nd at 20:00 CET
Group B: Saturday, May 24th at 18:00 CET
Group C: Sunday, May 25th at 21:00 CET
Group D: Monday, May 26th at 20:00 CET
Group E: Tuesday, May 27th at 19:00 CET

In this thread I will also briefly explain how the group stage will work. For more detailed rules click here:
- For this stage of the tournament, each player can choose 1 homemap from the tournament map pool that can be found here: , or on the tournament server. Make sure to check the version of the map on the tournament server as it may be different to WP's or TS's version etc.
- All group games are played on the server with ip: 78.46.124.38:27915, the server's password is "tourney". During the tournament games only players and admins are allowed to join this server, the spectators should connect to the GTV server with ip 78.46.124.38:27916 (no password required)
- Each group game consists of 8 maps played on a single occasion (for groups with 7 members there will be 7 homemaps + 1 random map, for groups with 6 members, 6 homemaps + 2 random maps)
-The timelimit for every map is 15 minutes
-3 top players from each group advance to DIV 1, the remaining players go to DIV 2.
TIP: if possible always make sure to at least COMPLETE the map during a tournament game as there are points awarded for it. Many players aim to get a very fast time and fail to complete the maps losing easy points.
