There has been a number of changes in rules of the tournament. Some rules might still be changed in the following days. The players who take part in the tournament are strongly advised to read through them.
I realize that the new rules have caused a lot of confusion so I'll try to briefly explain them.
Group Stage: points system remains as it was before - 1st place - 10 pts, 2nd place - 8pts, 3rd place - 6pts, etc.
Each player can still choose a homemap.
In the next 2 stages the points system is different because the number of players in a group will be greater.. The pts are: 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (for 1st, 2nd etc..)
DIV I - all maps are random (players can skip a map 4 times)
DIV II - all maps are chosen by the admins (players can skip a map 4 times). This is done to slightly decrease the level of played maps so that all players can enjoy their games. |
