Introduction

Welcome to yet another season of the NDML!

After a neverending sixth season which eventually finished in an epic and unforgettable game, we decided to go further with the NDML adventures.

This season should be much faster, less spread in time and more simple in its format.

To sign up your team to the NDML, you must contact me (Gravgon) and give me those infos:

League infos

Format:
The league will more than likely go through a first group stage which will lead to single-elimination playoffs.

Rules:
The rules will soon be updated. No particular changes will be made except for the anticheat section.
R1Q2 client coupled with the anticheat.dll will be enforced for this season.
We strongly encourage server admins to update their servers.

Nations:
Only countries can take part to this league. This means country coalitions aren't allowed.

Hehe, that would be nice, though if the case was that then there would be quite a fucking lot countries playing together since USSR. Aah yes, off course I forgot that Finland was a part of Russia in 100 years, so then we would split the team in 2, one half with swedes and one with the Russians.. would be kinda "pickup.ndml" Well jokes aside, will be fun to see another season of the best players from every country battling for the trophy. 	Gravgon: I agree USA + Canada = big mistake in NDML 4. That's why we split for NDML 5. I do see your point though, and I'm glad you clairified it with a good responce. If the players are there, good or bad, then it seems fitting that countries shouldn't combine.

	Allowing NA as a team was a mistake and it was done because the NA scene was almost dead back in that time. If you start to allow country coalitions, the purpose of this league is lost. For instance, if we were to allow cro+slo to team up, it's basically allowing clan plus to play in a nations league. I know I probably won't be able to play in NDML this season because Belgium doesn't have enough players but I can't help it and we have to deal with it. Moreover, Slovenia DO have players and I'm pretty sure Croatia could gather a team too if they really wanted.

	I'm confused in a sense that Canada and USA were allowed ot merge as NA in NDML 4, but you won't allow Croatia + Slovenia. At least those two "used" to be a country. Plus, it's still allowed for Canadian players to play under the USA team. For a dying game, possibly allow some flexability?

	The anticheat.dll can be used with R1Q2, AprQ2 and EGL. If this tourney will enforce the anticheat module, you should get used to one of those 3 clients asap. People who cannot run the anticheat.dll (since it only works under win2k/xp as far as I know) can be added to an exception list on any server (MAC users, linux users, ...). I guess those players will have to record demos of any match in this case, but thats up to the referees. Arguments FOR this anticheat is the best security so far in Q2. If new cheats (e.g. new versions of bots, wallhacks, etc.) are detected, R1CH will add them to the anticheat server in no time. This means: ALL servers enforcing anticheat are secure at once and the new detected cheats are "banned" all together. File checks (done by hash checksums) are also included. It depends on the tourney admins, which files will be checked. Most likey only playermodels and some item models to detect modified ones (spiked weapons, etc.). I guess, fullbright skins and your own sounds will not be checked, so you can use your own ones. I can provide a fully operational checksum file for all server admins that host servers for this tourney as soon as I know which files have to be checked in the tourney. 	Hm, I bet a lot of countries would have players, if they wanted. But when main squad finds out lacking of strong players, they tend to withdraw their position from NDML. The move by Wision was really nice one. He involved nWo for NDML, who aren't that strong players to oppose any of the elite countries ( Sweden, Finland, Poland ), but it's more for the fun, not for the win. Imho, .ru has quite a bunch of active clans, from where you could gather some players ( fPs, Wicked etc ). .ltu Lately seems to have an enormous activity ( phr, nrk, IS, IQ, DM is back, Vaga playing, Diacon etc etc ) and no signup? Hehe... .UK has their sweet ECF, also some players from BTF and yet no player for NDML? Gravgon, slap your clanmates! 	To Putka and Careem: I think the NDML is interesting because you get to see other teams, other fights than in the usual clan leagues. The whole fun is there, it's to team up with your fellow countrymen and see how well you can do against other countries. There are other Slovenian players, from clan Pimp afaik, who could play in NDML (and not as team Malta this time :nono

	Yes but this is a nations league and not a clan league. Yugoslavia is not a country anymore and Belgium was only a part of the Netherlands 200 years ago. If you want to play in NDML, you will have to involve "weaker" players in your national teams.
