Poland vs UK
UK only had 3 players available at 22.00, so Poland had the choice between w/o or waiting for a fourth Uk-er.
They were excited and wanted to play, so obvioulsly chose for the second option.
About half an hour later Mj was online, and we could start the game.
Poland chose
dm6 & dm1 as their maps, while UK chose
dm2 & dm3.
Server was
Chef's Battleground - Teamplay|160.45.60.210:27920, located in Germany and without any doubt the best West-European server for Polish connections. Ping were 100% equal here, both teams +/- 60ms.
First map : q2dm2
Both teams had the same tactics on this map (the same as us all actually) : Camping the RA tower and run around with the quad damage, as always.
Well, the screenshot sais enough i think. Poland had the RA lift and abused the quad damage at their best. Mkuh camped the RA lift and almost didn't die, Assasin was grabbing all the rails/ra's, which made him quite immortal against the unarmed UK players. Ibogine and Scooby made their tent at the quad-zone. They took most of the quads and fragged quite a lot. UK couldn't do anything against the duo mkuh/assasin at the RA-zone, so they were mainly trying to get the quad.
But as the Polish guys were timing every usefull weapon on the map, they had no chance to make any damage or whatsoever. Poland wins dm2 convincingly vs a demotivated UK team.
Second map : q2dm6
It seemed that it was worst UK map, becouse they didn't want to play it at first, but then they agreed. Poland probably picked this map to make some practice for them against a weaker opponent. Anyway the beginning wasn't very easy for them. Pegleg started off with very good red armor control and for first 6 minutes the game was very even. Scooby tried to get quads and sometimes suceeded but red armor was mainly controled by UK. 14 minutes left to play when score was still ~30:30 something happened, and UK gave up trying to take lead. Since then they haven't increased their for score for about 10 minutes and Poland was at its full power. Scooby raced map with quad and took nearly all of them. The others no more had any problems at red armor and rail areas. GG!
Third map : q2dm3
Even though Poland had lead all the game and were obviously too strong for UK, UK players didn't give up and tried their hard here too. Orion tried to take as many rocket launchers as he could and fragged alot in the beginning and whole game making Poland hard to get quad sometimes. Also rail area wasn't perfectly controled by warrior all the time. Sometimes UK even broke through Polands super shotgun control and took quad themselves. It was a really nice-to-watch game. GG both!
