The Netherlands impressive against a disapointing Lithuania

This match was important for the group A, LTU and NED were kind of rivals for the second place of this group. I personally thought it could have been a close match but all my expectations were wrong...

q2dm3 - LTU's map choice



Lithuania chosing dm3 against .nl was very surprising, I thought LTU would pick dm7 but whatever.

Not much to say really, NED owned: tforce and glad at quad position got all of them thanks to a really impressive teamplay effort, Arch and his good aim was cleaning the Rail despite the overwhelming attacks of the Lithuanians, chl was at RL and helped his team when and where it was needed.

q2dm5 - The Netherlands map choice



Almost the same scenario, NL locked the map very quickly with tforce glad and chl at rail/quad, tforce getting quad and showing once more his dm5 madness, glad was the helping slave here while chl was having fun with railgun.
Arch keeping the RA.
Lithuania kept trying to get back the Rail/Quad position with the small weapons, sometimes they managed but they never managed to build something.

Conclusion

Two things to say:
Netherlands seem to be in shape this season
Lithuania disapointed me very much, in my opinion they did a blatent tactical error: they went to a cafe to play the game so they weren't on their own PC. While if they had played from home, the game would have been played on a server where the dutch ping higher than usual and in those conditions, Lithuania is more trained.
