The first game of NDML*5

Once more those two teams met each other in a fantastic match.

Italy's map



This map started close and it ended close too. First Czechs got the control of the MH and they had a small lead at the beginning, but Italy focused on Rail and after a while, the railer of CZ (it was wision or Jenskiller at that pos) fell and Italy stroke back at the Mega. The score began to become closer but Marty was in a great shape today and he gave the Italians a very hard time.
Czech Republic kept the lead until the last 2 minutes, Italy got back the control of the MH and they extended it to the Lift. Czechs were gathering in the water but they weren't living long there because of the chaingun assaults of Italy. The last two minutes, Italy started to collect a lot of frags in the arena (Odie mainly) and they got a 10 frag lead... which melted again in the few last seconds, luckily for them they won though.

Czech Republic's map



I knew the Czechs would win this map right from the start, they always showed nice knowledge of that map. They got a very good start with the Quad/Rail area secured, the score of .cz was increasing and Italy struggled to get their first frags.
Then Italy got the RA room with bigol keeping it and they started to frag more.
But the Czech dudes were playing very coordinated and when Italy managed to take a quad, the quadrunner was killed almost directly.
On the contrary, Marty's quadrun were deadly for Italy, he removed bigol from the RA and there Czech started to increase their lead again.
CZ kept the control of the quad and rail until the end thanks to good railing from JackC and Marty's GL ownage.

I was a bit surprised that CZ eliminated dm7 instead of dm2 as usually they are good there. But they proved me they were good on dm2 too, we can sum up this game pretty easily: Italy had the quad, Czech had the RA. CZ had the lead for the first 10 minutes thanks to a good RA control by JackC and good railage by Marty. Afterward, Italy started to take quad after quad, very nice job of Corona there who did good quadruns and was always there to take the quad.
Czech started to lose the RA more often but fortunately for them, Italy didn't seem to be willing to camp so Czech could take it back almost directly. 5 minutes before the end and Italy has now a small lead thanks to all those quadruns. Czech now tries to come back and they are hunting the italians with whatever weapon they can have.
10 seconds left, score is 101 - 101, everyone is holding his breath... and a czech guy gets machineguned at the latest second!

Conclusion

I must say this game was very nice to watch, I thought CZ would do less good since their result in the CB cup aren't very good especially compared to the pretty good ones of LiD. They could have won the game with a bit of luck.
Italy made several nice come back and deserve this win.
