First of all the server was a breeze to find, again SLO choosing goodfellas which we (UK) didnt mind either, then the shock came when I asked for home maps and SLO chose dm3, we had already palnned out our DM1 team sure they would pick that map, but I did also hear SLO were a good Dm3 team aswell as Dm1 which is what stopped us picking it as our map, so UK picked Dm8 and this is what we started off on...

At the start of this map the scores were very close with the first couple of minutes belonging to either team, I think Sloe even picked up first PS but he was killed before he had the chance to gather many cells. This is where the contest ended though as soon UK pulled together all their experience on the map to gather a laed, with Pegleg getting almost everything at the alcove and Orion holding HB all game, Rail was always a close fought thing but with the advantage of having power shields UK soon managed to pull outa lead and ended up winning the map 186 - 51

The next map was Dm3 and this started in the opposite fasion with UK actualy pulling out a lead from te start, the lead was so great after a while that there was really no coming back from SLO, its a shame really becasue for the last 5-6 minutes they totally over ran rail and started taking about 50% of the quads and had UK in all sorts of problems, its just a story of if they would of started like that what would the score of been... anyway Uk ended this one by winning 166 - 82

Overall a friendly fought war, Dm3 was a bit of a suprise choice but SLO showed why they chose it in the closing moments of the war, its just a shame for them it wasnt for the full 20 minutes..
