Dm1 - Estonia's map
Estonia controlling water while Croatians keeping the room. The game went this way almost entirely, Croatians keeping a little gap of 10-20 all the time; until... after 15 minutes Estonians got the room, fragged ~20 frags in 2 minutes and got a lead of 79 to 77. After 18 minutes Croatia, 10 frags behind, spent a timeout, which seemed initially to work since they managed to get the room immeadiately back from our baltic friends. However, the Balkanian hand wasn't stable enough this time and the Estonians conquered the little stronghold back just after they had lost it. The last minute was just fragging while the gap stayed the same. In the end, after the smoke had mostly evaporated and the sounds of explosions had come to their end, the score was 104 to 90. The Estonians had won the first map.
Dm7 - Croatia's map
Just like in dm1, one .ee dropped just after the coundown had finished. In the two first minutes, the Croatians got the armor and a sixteen-frag-lead. Estonians kept the rocket launcher, Croatians mostly HB, altought I think there was a real pwnage going on from neither side. After 5 minutes the game was 48-10, the situation hadn't changed. Estonians got only occasionally the armor for a moment only to be losing it again shortly. This map was well played by our Balkanian friends and I think they deserved their 168 to 77 win.
Okay, so it was 1 to 1, an elimination was needed. The Estonians dropped dm6 and dm3 while team Hrvatska showing no mercy to dm2 (ffs) and dm8. The deciding map would be played in the Pits of the rolling, cruel, stone-made, bone-crushing mill.
And now was the time I had waited for a long period of two full-time maps: I begun making mistakes: I didnt notice that the quad drop was on, so we started happily without a clue of that we would have to restart the map. Anyway, .ee got a nice start taking the first quad and 12-3 lead. Then we had to restart the map in order to disable the quad drop, in order to return to the roots of the rules. So sorry for that.
The second start seemed the same Hirzu taking again the first quad. This time he was fragged before taking any significant number of opponents down. After 3 mins the game was 21 to 11 for Croatia, Balkanians taking the 3 next quads. Hrvatska-ppl preferred taking quads, Estonians kept the armor room well. This was the main course troughout the game. After 5 mins, Croatia overran the armor room losing it quickly again. After 6 mins the game was 30 to 21 for Croatia.
At one point of the game when Croatia had got the quad and the quadman was very strong with healt/armor, swimming towards the armor room, Enigma, who was speccing said "water" in public. The quadmate was killed. That was a lame act and I dont want to see it ever again.
These were the scores in the end...
after 15mins EST 65 - CRO 95
after 18mins EST 73 - CRO 107
Game Over: EST 81 - CRO 115.
