These croatians got nice praising from gravgon at the other topic and inspired from that they have started same show in every topic at q2scene.net. Finland has to win losers bracket final, which will be most probably fin vs swe. Its best out of 5 maps. Winner of losers bracket finals will meet poland in grande final which has to be won with 2 games of best out of 5 games. If poland wins the first game of grande final they are the champs (which will not happen sorry).

firs i congratulations to poland for this seemingly (i dont think it was nowhere near as easy as this score suggests) easy victory.
second, i thought that a an old quake2 nation (meaning most of their players are not 14 year old kids) would refer from whining and using any other excuse than "they played good, we played bad, they were better today". obviously i was wrong :]
i was always more fond of fins than swedes, they kind of seemed less "cold" so to say. Especially on get_quad.jpg and quad_taken.jpg on kontula's site :]], and i'm kind of sorry they lost, but you have to give it to the pol guys, they bring 110% of their hart in the game. just look at their fans. listen to their fucking national anthem on shoutcast. you just have to give it to them, theyre adorable :]
as for the whole country-ban from irc, oh well, you have to understand the finns too, for one i would firstly feel honored if 150 people were spamming like crazy for 2 hours after beating me, it certainly means something other than "finland is bad" because if that were the truth, there would be nowhere near that much cheering :], but after such a terrible loss you have to give them some privacy and leave them alone.

About that *!*@*.pl ban on #quake2.fi, it has been there a long time, over a year maybe. And reason why we have it is that polish ppl talk polish on every channel (#quake2.fi is finnish channel -> talk finnish or english). And they use public aways which are not allowed there. And i think it was dimmu who removed that ban after this game. Polish ppl joined and started to talk polish and flood something... so we put ban back.
Maybe that ban will be removed someday when you guys learn to behave.
Anyway congrats to poland and maybe we will meet again in grande final. You remember what happend last year when sweden came and owned you . But this time i hope it will be finland who will do that

So it was just an precautious move and after a little while (we let u time to calm down a bit) the ban was removed
ffs, its not the final Fin played dm2 without damiah, and should have won (held the lead for literally the whole match). Dm3 was a weird game to watch, no1 had a great game (except ibo was railing great in most of it), but damiah had a reaaaly bad game . Dm6 was very close and thats like Pol's best map and it was decided by the last quad.
What im trying to say is it could have easily been 3:0 the other way around, and don't count fin out i know pol won't. This only proved if they play again in the final it will be a really close one
Im so unhappy fin didn't win a map cause i was hoping to see dm1 !!!!! have to wait for the finals. And yeah, provi had ping problems on the last server and some polish had problems with the first one. We have to find some nice servers so its fair for everyone, don't want ppl bitchin...
