Another matchup we have tonight is Slovenia up against the UK . God save the Queen as these teams line up to hopefully give us one of the many possible nail biter matchups this 6th season of the prestigious NDML.

I took the time to interview zilla and Putka before their matchup tonight.

Anyway onto the games. The maps chosen were Q2DM1 and Q2DM8

Q2DM1, the tarnished old classic. Everyone knows this map like the back of their hand. Some love it, Some hate it, others just follow the crowds looking for acceptence on this map. This map was a tight gmae most of the game. The UK and Slovenia however both seemed to try to hold off certain positions but we not having any luck doing so. Slovenia would hold the rail area, while the UK would control the Mega Room. Eventually this turned into a huge 4v4 FFA Match with Slovenia pulling out on top with the win.

Slovenia 1:0 UK

Q2DM8, this map has somethign that can make or break your teamgame, that is the powershield. Slovenia managed to grab the first powershield and from that point on took total control of this map. Slovenia this map had more of a teamplay style of play, positioning themselves in the rail and hyperblaster areas. The UK seemed to be FFAing again which didn't help their cause too greatly. This was a very onesided game for Slovenia .

On another side note, UK^Regent was penalized in this matchup for being ingnorant to the rules and admins requests. He is no longer allowed to represent the UK in NDML 6, by orders of Gravgon and zilla . The UK itself will recieve no damage to this penality other than the loss of this player.
