The first ones to register a date for their game were UK and Poland. To be honest betting 100$ on Poland punishing UK 2:0 would be the smart thing. I guess it's not really necessary to remind that Poland is a member of "The Big Three" - the group of usual NDML finalists (since 2004 at least ... because q2scene doesn't yet give info about previous seasons of this league) and to be precise Gold: 2005, 2007; Silver: 2004; Bronze: 2006, 2008; meanwhile their opponents haven't seen playoff table since 2004.
If we take a look at Poland's squad it shines with big names from top polish clans tOk, v3, 3c, BoD and their varieties from euroq2l lead by "Prince"Cleaner (title "King" is patented by edwin) however it's sad that polish team is not represented by players like "bad (tp) boy"qw who lately shows confident aim and "polish mobius"alter_szu. Despite that Poland has a variety of ways to buld up an efficient squad for every map their opponent would pick, except maybe q2next1 which is still despised by most polish players. Let's hope poles won't fight amongst themselves for an opportunity to punish UK.
UK team is far not as bright as their adversaries but still lists a number of players for building up a solid team. The key difference here is that all polish players are listed in div1 and entire british team performs in div2 (except hjk, who is floating between main and backup squad in CBR). I'd lay my hopes on "whitch doctor"c12 making something ohmygodable, ofc if he decides to attend and finds some non-wifi internet. The most probable map picks for UK would be (45%)q2dm1, (35%)q2next1, (15%)q2dm3, (5%)q2dm5.
I could also guess that the server would be some dutch one so both teams would have an average of 35 ping which suggests the game to be high-score and let's hope not only in Poland's favour thus making it enjoyable for spectators.
