First of all, this game requires some explainations... It was first scheduled to a date in march but during the scheduling discussion process, there was a misunderstanding between vrn and necro leading to a situation where Russia thought the game was at 20h00CET while Croatia thought it was 21h00CET.
Russia waited for Croatia and at 21h00 Croatia didn't have 4 either. But Russia kept waiting. Croatia finally got 4 at exactly 21 hour, 20 minutes and 35 seconds. Which means they were 35 seconds past the legal time for Russia to take the w/o.
__d34d rightfully awared the w/o victory to Russia.

Two months later and after many discussions, Russia agreed to replay the game. Big thanks to them for this act of fairplay. Now here is the report

Q2DM7 - Croatia's map

The match was played home/away and overall Russia had a slight ping advantage. This map started very even, dx got a very good start at RL. Instead of just staying there he used the RL to clean the SSG/Hyper part and started to time those two weapons very well.
Maxy took position at RL and defended it very well all along the game, providing the powerfull weapon to his teammates when they were freshly respawned.
The game was closer at RA, the Russians were attacking it with 3 and the couple necro/frenzy were outnumbered (yes because 3 > 2, I'm good at math!). The only problem for the Russians is that Necro often tooled up at maxy's RL shop while Frenzy went berserk with any weapon he could find. So when 5 minutes were remaining, the 20 frag gap increased again in favour of Croatia until the end.

Q2DM3 - Russia's map

We went to telenet and the game started pretty balanced. Dx took the first quad but Nol1ght took penta and hunted him down through the map, cleaning the rail area for his mates on his way.
Russia led the way during the first 5 minutes, voron and nol1ght took several quads while z1u was giving a hard time to dx at rail. But necro started to be at ease on the map and took all the quads from that point, Croatia came back to the score and the game turned into their favour.
In fact, both teams fragged each other equally in the short times between the quads. But as soon as the quad spawned, Croatia had a big frag boost mainly thanks to necro's flawless quadruns (ah he also took the second invul).
At the end, Croatia never let a chance to Russia for a come back despite z1u and nol1ght's good railing.

Conclusion:

Thanks to both for playing the game (w/o's always suck) and for making it smooth. This victory allows Croatia to go to the playoffs.
