I was proabably in a very good mood that night, I decided to admin 2 games at the same time. Those games involved Slovenia and Croatia the players of which are known as my best buddies ;)
Anyway, both games went pretty smoothly and, although they weren't the most interesting matches of the league, they were easy to admin.
Q2DM1 - Slovenia's map choiceAs expected, Slovenia picked q2dm1 which was a good choice despite the end result. Ukraine isn't known as a good dm1 team. Unfortunately for Slovenia, Ukraine played very well on this map that night.
The Ukrainians locked the map very quickly and all the Slovenians could do was attacking Rail or Lift. But they were quickly crushed by Smoke and L33 who both railed like crazy that night. Blaizz was doing the Mega keeping routine and Muhaha was taking care of the lift when necessary.
Slovenia never managed to regain control but they still managed to frag a lot thanks to stolen rails here and there. Careem and Putka were poking the room keepers of Ukraine with their rails while Zdufz and Jazz played less sneaky and kamikaze-rushed the important positions.
Overall, Ukraine looked impressive on this a map which isn't always their best. Slovenia lacked teamplay and coordination to be a real threat to their opponent.

Q2DM6 - Ukraine's map choiceUkraine went for their long time favourite map and proved once again their very good knowledge of it.
As the game started, Slovenia quickly showed what was their plan. They focused on Quad and, in my opinion, it wasn't that bad of an idea. Zdufs managed to take the couple of first quads but didn't frag that much because, let's face it, shotgun is a sucky weapon!
During this time, Ukraine took position in the other part of the map, Muhaha taking care of the BFG, Smoke polishing his railgun and collecting the RA's and then Silph and Blaizz preparing for taking over the Quad.
After 3 minutes, Slovenia's fate on this map was determined: Blaizz started his flawless quadruns and litterally crushed all the Slovenians everywhere on the map. He used every single second of the powerup to gather frags and never died while doing so. Slovenia couldn't do much but didn't give up totally either. Zdufs and Lin kept trying to take the quad and Careem tried to frag at the other positions. Jazz was waiting for UKR's quadrunner alone in the outside part every minute for a David vs. Goliath challenge. Unfortunately, blaster vs Quad+SSG doesn't work that good but he did get a frag!

Conclusion: Ukraine looked in a very good shape that night and
Slovenia didn't have good strategy and teamplay to beat them.
GG anyway!
