We have arrived at the end of the first group stage (only one game is left and it can't modify the playoff spots).
Here is how the things will be going from now on...
1. The teams which qualified for the playoffs:
Group A:
 Sweden
 Netherlands
Group B:
 Finland
 Belgium
Group C:
 Germany
 Ukraine (*)
Group D:
 Poland
 USA
(*): UK, EST and UKR all had 7 points in the ranking. However, among the matches that they played against each other, Ukraine had the more map wins...
UK - EST 2 - 0
EST - UKR 2 - 1
UKR - UK 2 - 0
Ukraine has 3 map won and that's why they qualified
2. The playoff pairs
This season, the playoffs pairs will be decided randomly.
The second of a group always meets the first of another group.
I'll try to find an IRC script which will randomize it.
3. PlayOff and second group stage format
Stay tuned for a schema that will visually explain the layout of the playoff and second group stages.
For the teams which didn't make it to the playoffs: DON'T worry, the league isn't over for you...
4. Feast break
We're approaching Christmas and the New Years' eve, that's why the league will take a short break, the PlayOffs pairs will be drawn this week and the first matches will have to be played before the Sunday 9th January 2005
5. Allstar match
The match almost happened last sunday but for some reasons (connex problems) it couldn't be played. It will hopefully be played during the first week of 2005.
