zduffs you completely loose the point. were at the game league (lets say) forum. discussion considers pol vs fi game and annoying acts of disrecpect for deserved winners (not for the first time winners, not first time disrecpected). by my previous post I was trying to prove its not just q2 were good at and its not liek we have one big community and thats why results come.

I am following more than just one scene and well, thats a fact, as someone else pointed out before me, that Poland owns not just in one game.
- Q3 - in CPMA were best without doubt, in OSP still behind swedes but its a question of time :> - UT - won nationscup so many times that no one even dares to doubt that Poland dominates - CS - team pentagram - only few frustrated NiP fans think otherwise - SC:BW - talking of non-korean scene theres no competition for team poland. - Q4 - av3k.
not even mentioning our succeses in programming (check standings at www.topcoder.com), volleyball (:> and so on. Everywhere where skill > money, Poland owns. Live with it D
I kinda understand what thaigo means here. This final wasn't the most interesting NDML had. I don't think both teams played THAT well compared to previous seasons and it's partly due to the fact it was played late.
they have won even without scooby and this is very impressive i wanna see finland winning next ndml without one of their top players (and im not talking bout dimmo here)

Careem, no that's not my point. Poland was better this time and that's a proven fact. I'm just saying that Finland was way too inactive this season to be able to compete vs top countrys, at least in the finals.
fps, the difference is .se team were practising 2days in a row 24/7 before the finals on dm6, se was more or less active and se players are most active pcw players lately, so.. raskal it is excuse, but realize .fi > pol if fi is active like pol and thats the point of thaigo imo =] however, we\ll see in the next season how it gonna be.

thaigo if you are always inactive, you are still always worse than the winner. This win means expressly which team is the best at this moment. Still everyone can make their own opinions which team is best.
Imho it was not "a great 5-mapper final" since just about any team could have played better if they just were active. I think that goes a bit for Poland too. Quality of the game was poor, but yes it was exciting.
If u want a quality final, dont play it during the summer.

Well it's nevermind , like Gravgon said , it was a nice 5 mapper final with close scores , so no idea what's the problem of some guys. This team won euroq2l also. I never seen any whine from them . They just played their games silently and nice.
For me theese kind teams are simpatic, and i say grat polski!
All these discussions are useless imo. History only remembers the winners. The winner of a league like this one is the team that was the most consistent throughout the whole league.
Poland stayed in a good enough shape to beat all their opponents along their way to the finals and at the end they won it. That means Poland was the best team throughout all this season and that's all.
It shouldn't be interpreted as Poland > Finland, it must be interpreted as Poland > Finland at this time of the year, during the 7th season of NDML, after a nice 5-mapper match. In this way, I don't see how such a victory couldn't be deserved. You can come up with many "if's" but that will not change the result and it's just pointless discussions.
Btw, there is still no report as you can see, I'll try to write something when I'm done with my exams, meanwhile anybody is free to provide a report for one or several maps if they want.
And why don't polish players dont get respect? Because most of polish ppl here are fucking retards. That's why. Im not saying im any better but that's just it.

Would be nice to play a game where everyone had their best lineups and ppl were active also. Like in this game summer has been on for so long that at least me and provi had a month break before the final ( exactly 3x10min games before the final).

we lost in the grand final 1:6 with se, not 2 mention that morphx didnt have the inet connection for that time and we got pingraped, still se played better that day in those circumstances
people after that said "IF POLAND CAME 2nd IN NDML then the lvl has to be really crappy" - i rememba it like yesterday, the 2nd place tasted terrible not because we lost the grand final (which was quite sad too) but i didnt feel any satisfaction cuz of what ppl said
so next season... we won NDML and finally ppl showed us some respect that we deserved!
season after that we came 3rd (i left already and the new lineup they used didnt play as well as they expected)
finally this season, they used the best lineup again and simply were better than the other countries and deserved it...
look at the previous seasons and compare pings of polish team and teams that the lost against... u will see really funny sitatuions and find amusing conclusions
so here i gave a lil info about past 3-4 years... i guess thats enough 2 prove something (i dont have 2 mention that we finished 3/4 with germany in ndml 2 or 3 dont rememba even now...)
we have always been one of the top teams with sweden and finland, there were episodes where some countries like germany (in the beginning), or uk played well, after that netherlands (with a lil help of cb admin crew and weirdest brackets made ever) and then finally belgum and estonia...
so plz dude dont take away anything from the teams that really deserved it throughout all of those seasons... and dont hate man simply cuz u couldnt reach the same lvl as all of them did
yep, scooby, poland is another swede, poland has become a top players in almost every game if u look at q3 - cpm best 2 players are from poland, warsow - top player victim, q4 i think top5 av3k... now in q2 poles won everything 2 bad u had bad connections and bad computers in past, but now is getting better by u and let me add something, without poland would have q2scene died long time ago =]
I was expecting the other way around, but I guess poland evolved so much during the season (in the group stage they almost lost to brazil on q2dm1 ) and they just became really strong on these last games against swe and fi..

It is not like poles are better because there are so many of them, it is more like 3m is so good that any other clan/team couldnÂ’t match them this season in euroq2l or in NDML. Imo rests of the teams are still little behind Scandinavian clans. Maybe it is because we got the head start with better internet connections, but who cares since you have the best team, right?
Anyway congratulations to Poland and enjoy it while it last.
1st of all its not about QUANTITY... ITS ABOUT QUALITY!!! + 3/4 of those guys are around since NDML I or even before that...
2nd thing.... we always have had good teams but crappy internet so it was hard 2 qualify or win something
3rd thing like i said look at q3 zik, matrox (ages ago) ... q4 avek... cs team pentagram...
4th last but not least u say that there r plenty of poles playin out there... thats how i felt few years ago... i saw swedish players playin everywhere, all quakes, war3, cs, sc etc everything in clanbase was won by swedish players etc probalby internet was the main factor but still u had a huge gaming scene so just swallow the pride and respect the final standings as they are without crappy notes

It looks like in other country players don't care about quality of a games, they just want newer graphic with more fancy effects
"This year all q2scene is lyled. Poles won all leagues". Well look at the amount of players Poland have. You dont need to be Einstein to understand that its just the way it will be in the future . New players coming up every day, new clans formed every day. So that means more ganking for the oldschool poland. Dunno why Quake2 became so popular in Poland in such a short notice, maybe the boxes finally arrived in the gamestores? :ql:
