From now on, all the players in this league are allowed to use this new Q2 client.

However, the client is not supposed to be an anti-cheat (although it actually gives a better protection than NoCheat) and few bugs and problems remain so NDML won't enforce the use of R1Q2.

Messing around with r_maxfps, cl_maxfps and cl_async solved my issues with the client. Not all, but some. My mouse seems better with r1q2 also. With NC I get a small acceleration wich is annoying.

hm, i "installed r1q2" and my movement was slower arround 8x. with cl_run 1 i was moving slower than counterstrike players, but when i set it to cl_run 0 it was kinda faster..but still, it's not the real deal.

its weird to jump with r1

i want a boolean normal_movement and then you can enforce it as far as i'm concerened

until that ill use nocheat + frkq2, kthx

Yes, I use 90 and could "reproduce" it even on DM1. But on CTF5 it was just annoying because it's a running map

Atleast with cl_async 0 when "straferunning" (running the fastest way in Q2) the pace is sometimes taken off by a "gluestep". Some people call it slipperying but I think gluestep is better word With pure Q2 or NC this doesn't happen using most popular maxfps's like 120, 99, 90.

Good choice to allow the client. Also good not to enforce it as there's still minor physicsproblem in R1Q2. I've informed R1CH so let's hope he'll hunt down the bug.
