Poll result2005-09-18 10:23 | Gravgon
As there are too many people who are reluctant to add unrdm1 to the map pool, we will not add it and keep the list as it:

q2dm1, q2dm2, q2dm3, q2dm5, q2dm6, q2dm7, q2dm8.

Some people who seemed motivated realised and even tested a custom map pak (q2next maps). I already would like to thank them for this appreciated iniative.
However I don't think this custom map pak can already be used in NDML...

The NDML team took the decision to let those team play in NDML despite the huge ping issues that might occur.

Everything has been checked and games involving those teams will be playable (although high pinging).
Also, the rosters will be made in consideration of the ping problems...

Custom map?

A poll has been launched about custom map. We would like to know your opinion about adding unrdm1 to the map list of NDML.

R.I.P. Dav2005-08-28 16:14 | Gravgon
One of our fellow Q2 player from Hungary, Dav, has lost the life recently at the age of 25 in a motorbike accident.

Although I didn't know him very well, he was known as a very friendly person as well as a skilled player.

I wish him to rest in peace and I wish the best to his friends and to his family.

Feel free to let a message in his memory on this news item.

NDML|6 - Warming up!2005-08-24 08:23 | Gravgon

Dear Q2 players from all over the world,

I hope you've spent some nice hollidays and that you're nearly ready to take part in yet another season of the NDML.

Without further delay, I will give you random facts and details about the league...

League format
I decided to come back to a more classic system for this season after the complete failure of my attempts at making the league last longer for the "less skilled" countries.
To sum it up, the league will still feature a Double-Elimination PlayOffs tree but, this time, the only way to reach the PlayOffs is to place 1st or 2nd from your Group.

Clients
Among the wild jungle of the Q2 clients, you will be allowed to use 4 different ones:
- R1Q2 (latest version)
- NoCheat 2.34
- NoCheat 2.40 beta 2
- Hollywater
More infos on the client policy will follow after a close investigation of your faithful servant.

Admins
So you are dieing to become an admin in this prestigious and awesome Q2 league? Well... Keep dieing, I will contact personnally all the former admins to rebuild the admin team.

Teams
This is the most interesting part, I guess. If you are the captain of a country national team and you want to subscribe your country to NDML|6 -> contact me.
The best way is to let me a message via the q2scene.net message system, but you can also contact me on IRC #ndml.

Below this line will be displayed all the currently subscribed teams and their captain

- Slovenia - Putka
- Finland - Dimmo
- Belgium - Gravgon
- Croatia - Necro
- Austria - frikA & fl4sh
- Ukraine - zbone
- USA - manipulat0r
- Russia - Voron
- United Kingdom - Zilla & Devious
- Poland - Undecided
- Sweden - Purri
- Estonia - evah
- Lithuania - DM
- Canada - Laurelin
- Australia - sax

That's it for now, stay tuned for more infos!

NDML*5 is over2005-05-15 09:49 | Gravgon
The fifth season of NDML is now over and the final podium is like this:

P o l a n d
F i n l a n d
S w e d e n

NDML Crew special award: Croatia

First of all, I would like to personally thank Gerdt for the awesome job he did and for all the times he helped me when I didn't have the time or the motivation to run this league.

Then thanks to all the admins of NDML, the players, the team captains and all the people who helped with the coverage: djWHEAT for the final shoutcast, davve pogo and JOWA for the Q2TV hostings.
Last but not least: Claymore who once again improved this website all along the league.

See you next season!
