Ďđŕâčëŕ RDL#2 (Îńĺíü 2006 ăîäŕ)
1. GENERAL INFORMATION ------------------------------------------------------
Russian Duel League includes the following stages: a. Qualification round, b. Group round, c. Play-off. Each player must play with a player within their group. Each player must play at least 2 games a week.
1.1. Main server settings ----------------------------- a. Mode: OSP Tourney or Battle b. Timelimit 15 c. Powerups 0 d. BFG 0 e. Skins: male/grunt & female/athena f. If the score draw after 15 mins -> sudden death.
1.2. Overflows ----------------------------- a. When player overflows or server crashes before 2 mins after start map and difference is no more than 3 frags - the game is re-played. b. When player overflows or server crashes after 2 mins after start map - admin waiting no more 5 mins. If player is not connecting to server he get w/o on this map and he gets -1 points and 0:50 frags. If player connecting to server during 5 minutes, so in this case game is starting from beginig, and playing unplayed time +2 additional minutes.
1.3. Disconnect ----------------------------- If player disconnect - the map is NOT re-played and he gets w/o on map.
1.4. Bots ----------------------------- Bots, headspikes, weaponspikes and wallhacks using, or any other type of cheating = kickban from the league.
1.5. Demos ----------------------------- All players must record demos, and send to admin after game.
1.6. Wildcards ----------------------------- a. Each player has only one wildcard. b. When the wildcard is used, the match will be rescheduled. c. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME OF THE MATCH! d. Wildcard can be used in every stage of league (groups or play-offs).
1.7. Other stuff ---------------------------- a. Admin decision and league supervisor can't be a subject of discussion. b. Clients allowed: nocheat, r1q2 c. Players should behave and play fair. d. Players that show no interest in the league can be kicked by league supervisor. e. Real nicks have to be used.
2. QUALIFICATION ROUND ------------------------------------------------------
Most performing players placed in different groups. Each player plays 2 games with each other within their group. For won 3 points are given, for lose 0. If player gets a w/o he also gets minus 1 point for each map, his opponent in this case gets +3 for each map. Two w.o. in a row on two maps (i.e. two rounds in a row) will lead to exclusion from the tournament. If will be draw (score 1-1) each player get 1 point. The two players leading in score will pass to the next, Group contest. In case there is no possibility to definethe two leading positions, an additional game is to be held between those two competitors on any map of the contest, for Ťwonť 3 points are given, for Ťloseť 0 points will be given, for w.o. minus 1 (in case three or more players have the same score). The map is chosen by means of kicking from the list of those allowed in this round.
3. GROUP ROUND ------------------------------------------------------
Players acting in one group in the elimination contest will not be in one group in the Group Round. Each group includes two leaders of the elimination contest and two players occupying second positions. Each player plays 2 games with each player. Winner gets 3 points, looser - 0, draw - each player get 1 point. If the player gets w/o, 1 point is extracted (-1) for every map and the rival gets 3 points for every map. Two w.o. in a row on two maps (i.e. two rounds in a row) will lead to exclusion from the tournament. Those who take the first places in score pass to the Playoff. In case there is no possibility to define the two leading positions, an additional game is to be held between those two competitors on any map of the contest, for Ťwonť 3 points are given, for Ťloseť 0 points will be given, for w.o. minus 1 (in case three or more players have the same score). The map is chosen by means of kicking from the list of those allowed in this round.
4. PLAYOFF ------------------------------------------------------
Players who occupied the first places in groups meet with those who occupied second positions. Players who acted in one group in the Group Round will not play against each other in the first round of the Playoff. The games are played up to two victories on different maps. Every player states his own map from the list of all the maps of the tournament for every tour. It is to be done beforehand for every tour of the Playoff straight after a Playoff net is formed. Note: rivals cant chose one and the same map, in case its impossible to decide who chooses first a duel is played up to one frag on q2dm1 (-1 also counts as a frag). In case of 1:1, the third map is chosen by the players by means of kicking of the list of the resting maps. Playoff is held according to the system Double Elimination, meaning one defeat is allowed in every tour. The one who lost gets into the net of losers. Games within the net of losers are played up to two victories. The one who lost in the net of losers leaves the tournament.
5. FINALS ------------------------------------------------------
Finals consist of the two tours: Winners Finals and Losers finals. Winners finals are played up to three victories on different maps. The winner passes into Grand Finals, the loser into Loser Finals. Losers finals (the one who got through the net of Losers passes into this finals + the one who lost Winners Finals) are played up to three victories on different maps. The winner passes into Grand Finals, the loser occupies the third place of the tournament and leaves it. For each final game a player states his own map from the list of all the maps of the contest. It is to be done beforehand straight after the pairs of the finals are defined. Note: rivals cant chose one and the same map, in case its impossible to decide who chooses first a duel is played up to one frag on q2dm1 (-1 also counts as a frag). In case of 1:1, the third map is chosen by the players by means of kicking of the list of the resting maps. The fourth (is played in case of 2:1 score) and the fifth map (is played in case 2:2 score) are to be chosen by the Judge of the tournament or from the list of the maps not played in the finals according to the agreement between the players. Every map in final games is to be played only once .
6. GRAND-FINAL ------------------------------------------------------
Game is played between the winner of Winners Finals and the winner of Losers Finals. The winner of Winners Finals gets an advantage necessary number of victories: He can win on three maps while as the winner of Losers Finals is to win on four maps (this is because the winner of Winners Finals has not yet lost in his playoff matches and he has a sort of a "reserve").
