Rambutan, aka M3.Prof, known as a man who is interesting in the life of russian q2scene, active player, who have his opinion and allways might find arguments for it. Before now he was on a position of a consultant of the crew. But his job of organization a lan tourney in Tver was done just excellent, so it became a 'card blanch' for he to the league crew. Wellcome and good luck.
Besides that, we gonna play all matches with admins on RDL, as ussual. Sad, but such players as PnP and jerry have left q2. So, if there are any players who want to help us to execute the organization of the league - they should contact someone of the active crew. |

Following news:
1) I finally decided to stay in the crew, since my participating in the lan tourney in Tver has given new emotions to me, and i also hope that there will be more votes 'yes' than 'no' on this question.
2) As we decided on the voting on this site, here will be NO SDL, only countries same to RDL#2 will take a part in a tourney + invited players.
I mean that players from any countries can be invited to take a part, but it still may be discussed.
So, here is my offer:
We will make few qualification groups as ussual, or start from the group round, and put one or two players to each the group.
You can tell what players do you like/dislike to invite in the comments, and then their list will be added to the poll on this site, to vote finally.
3) We should think to add or not to add one or two new maps.
First we still have some players who dunno even curent mappool, but second is that would be nice to see something new and fresh.
4) Rules.
I think that RDL#2 rules was too large and hard to read. So this time we should make them short as possible and include only main things that players should know there, and leave the rest for admins.
5) Start.
I think that here's no point to stand by. We should start soon as possible, since there's not so much time before a New Year... :D |

yo bros!
too much time has been left since ma last post, my dammed job probably will kill me earlier than cigarettes i guess :) The 1st that i'd like to announce is Tver's lan party wich will be in 10 days in Tver, the town in 120 km far away from Moscow. A lot of russian skillful players, such as RPG, FPS, opt1mus and etc, has been registred for this. It's hard to belive, but a lot of inactive players registred too, some of them haven't played 6 fuckin' long years :) more info about this lan party ya may find here http://cybercon.ru/index.php?newsid=75. the 2nd that i'd like to discuss is timers using. I have an idea to make some limitations using them. It doesn't mean that we're gonna to disable timing, i propose scores decreasing for each game with timers. Please leave your comments about this idea..
and the last one for 2 night, that i'd like to mentioned. Recently AlexeyNow proposed to make some kind of prize fund for SDL winners, on my guess really good idea and i'm ready to support it. The 1 thing, that i don't understand is how winners will take their money (wetern union, paypal...what else?). If some knew how to organiZe it let us know
