Seems like there's a problem with this Q2scene site. It's not possible to turn on sign ups.
Doesn't matter! Send a message on IRC to Welkin, if you want to sign up! #boxingday
We'll just have to use some kind of txt website instead. :) |

Okay, so me and brzn decided to host a little duel tournament tonight. That means it will start AND finish before we all go to bed. :)
Signups will close at 20:00 CET, and either 16 or 32 players will be added to the competition (depends on how many signs up).
Games will begin at 20:30 CET. Group stage finish around 23:00?
In case of 16 players: 4 groups with 4 players each. Everybody plays each other, and then top2 from each group advances to single elimination playoffs. Which means a maximum of 6 games per player, and a minimum of 3. So if you don't have time for it, don't sign up!
In case of 32 players: Same as with 16, but with 8 groups instead. And the playoffs start with 1/8 finals, rather than quarter finals.
Players with a history of good behavior (finishing what they started, etc) will be selected before others. We want this to run smooth.
Map pool for this tournament is: q2rdm3, q2rdm4, q2rdm10, q2duel2, , ztn2dm1,
The Digitalfrag servers feature all these maps. For other servers, see .
Group matches, 1/8 and quarter finals: best out of 3 maps. Semi finals and final: Best out of 5 maps.
All game settings, system for picking/kicking maps, etc, follows the EDL rule sheet. So vote webconfig edl! |
