Over at (a   North-American based q2-community) the preparations for the 3rd Tasty500 tourney (previous ones all being won by Elysium) are moving alone just fine. Voting on maps and powerups are finished, and a date is already set.
What is Tasty500?
The concept is as easy as it gets: the first one to reach 500 frags wins. It's standard FFA (Free For All) deathmatch, with weaponstay enabled. Whether to use powerups or not is decided by vote, the same goes for the map. There is no timelimit.

MAP: (with server-side entity )
The server is in USA, so any european wanting to participate would have to struggle with 100+ ping, but it's all for fun. The time is also a bit Euro unfriendly. | |
