Quake2: 10y anniversary LAN?

As the Quake2 we all love is celebrating 10 years anniversary December 6th,

frikA has gotten the pretty damn nice idea to host a LAN to celebrate the happening. But he is keen on finding out if there is any interest before he starts organizing it.

Please note that nothing is decided yet, as it's only at the very beginning of the planning stage.

Germany
When :: 1st or 2nd weekend of December 2007
Who :: Anyone who is interested,

frikA has gotten positive response this far from a few key people he has talked to. We might even see some old-school players attend, but as written above, nothing is decided.

	4 of us from team hr will be there 100% if it happens. i was already looking to book a flight and hotel room, the prices aren't that big so the only thing we need is the interest of q2 community.

	I think then we have to celebrate in Russia it`s simply becouse alcohol in RU more cheap then EU Serious it`s may be Poland. Polish scene is biggest, grow up fast and we will have maximum ppl. But organisation IMHO is more difficult?
