Quake2World: a new game

The creator of the client (for GNU/linux and FreeBSD)

jdolan has made stand-alone multiplayer game based on the quake2-engine.

Quake2World is an unsupported, unofficial, multiplayer-only iteration of Quake2. It aims to blend the very best aspects of the entire Quake series to deliver an enjoyable FPS experience in a free to download, stand-alone game

Maps
The game comes with 4 maps:
:: "Stress Fractures" - fractures.bsp
:: "Buzzkill" - buzzkill.bsp
:: "Torn Glory" - torn.bsp
:: "Chromium Blue" - chromium.bsp
:: "Chastity Belt Duel" - chastity.bsp
Stock q2dm-maps can be played too but are illegal to be distributed with the game.

	Yeah, it's still a pretty new project, so it will more than likely get improved with each release. Best way is of course giving direct feedback to jdolan (found on #tastyspleen @ irc.entherthegame.com)

	Well I think it is too early to judge it. Steer up some polls about the so called zero feelings and it can be fixed on a day.

	yeah, agreed about the movement, I tried it for a bit and it felt too weird for my liking. Didn't seem like the jumps were scaled to fit the maps. Maybe others will find it more enjoyable though

	pretty lame game, youre flying to high when you jump. You can boxjump on the big boxes and the ssg jump is possible to do standing still. Zero feeling in this "game"
