The first quarterfinal, the game between  Finland and  Lithuania has just been played. Finland picked q2dm1 and q2dm3 and Lithuania decided q2dm2 and q2dm7 to be their homemaps. The game went pretty much as . Three maps were more than enough to determine the winner. Lithuania has been CRUSHED.

The scores say it all. More than 100 frags advantage on every map. Provi, thaigo, slippi and raskal clearly outperformed the Lithuanians, giving them almost no space to fool around and frag. Once again, Finland proved they are one of the very best national team and made yet another step to achieve the trophy. Finland becomes the first team in NDML8's semifinals while Lithuania places top8.
Finland is now awaiting for their opponent to be determined. However, the game  Estonia vs  Ukraine is yet to be scheduled.
