As most of you know, Dreamhack is a major gaming event in  Sweden and since last year they've started running tournaments in "the best FPS-serie ever made" aka Quake of course!
They will already run tournaments in QW and Q3... Don't you find they're missing something? Like the best game among that "best fps-serie ever" made for instance? Yes they do!
That's why we need you to make sure a Quake2 tournament is organised over there.
It would be a 1v1 tournament with a 15.000 SEK (~1800 ) prize money + hardware prices.

- Country (if other than Sweden)

Note: This is not a signup. By sending this email, you just tell the Dreamhack staff that you're interested in a Q2 tournament.
Infos about Dreamhack
- Location: Jönköping, Sweden (2-3 hours with train from stockholm or Gothenburg)
- Date: 14-17 June 2008
- Quake2 players attending: PURRI has confirmed he'll be attending and so will probably the whole clan play.
- Other: you can sleep on place if you bring a sleepingbag, computers are available for the tournaments however there is a BYOC place if you want to practice. Hotels are also available close to the location.
This event would be a really nice place to promote Q2 so come on people, show Q2 some love! | |
