New League: LPT

Since Polish League is over, admins of plq2,

D4ru$ and

danka decided to run new league - . You can say: Ok, it's just another league, we already have euroq2l, plq2 etc...But, this league has one special thing, it's maplist:

- q2duel1
- q2duel5
- q2duel8
- q2rdm2
- fury
- match1
- tltf

Yes, these are duel maps it's not a mistake, that's why this league isn't like the other well known leagues (plq2, euroq2l). I think it's very nice idea. First of all that's nice that after 10 years we still have some new ideas. Second of all we can expect some really unexpected scores :)

	Well, it's really hard to start a brand new league, especially now (holiday + Q2 IS AN OLD GAMEE \o/) when there're a lot less active clans on the scene...

	What about a tdm league without id's official maps, but with good tp maps like q2next1-2, q2bub1, sith_dm2 and so on? There are ofc more great maps out there, but those comes to mind first. I would gladly play that! Edited: 2008-04-22 19:12

	imao there's MAAANY good maps at some DM servers wich was never practiced before as 1v1 maps or TDM either. example: stdm2 - good 1v1 maps... i'd play few times and I enjoy well. I believe that we might to find couple of excelent good maps for both - TDM and 1v1 - from old, custom mappaks wich died long time a go. this league its another league with maps wich has ages and everybody play those a dozens of times... WHERE IS SOMETHING FRESH HERE?

	this is damn good idea for league! put pro-q3dm6 also in the list! the quake 2 variant is also super cool and TP rulz

	Yeh sovet but it's still something else then boring dm1/2/3. Now when q2 (hard to say that) is really dying... Look how many people aren't playing q2 anymore, I remember when polish scene was huuuuge, and now only couple guys still more or less active. So leagues like this1 is really something...

	It's not that new idea. We had something like that in Estonian a few years ago. 4v4 on duel maps. The league died within few days since it turned out to be a complete nonsence. You'll see when 4 players spawn at tltf and other team: 2 at rg and 2 secure rocket areas. ;]]]]
