New quake2 channel

Attention all you lucky active players!
A few enthusiasts made a new channel, which has a bit sence in it. Have you got lonely on a server? Noone to play with? Tired of railing noobies? :) Then join . You can always search players for a pickup, search pcw's, or find people, who will play your favorite mod.
Btw, don't forget to join q2scene's irc channel :) - . You are always welcome :)

	#Q2-Gamers just hit the next step in it's quest to bring active Quake2 players together...we now have a match signup bot. The commands can be found at http://q2nc.free.fr/rules.txt, basically any person in the channel can !add themselves to a game, which is then placed in the title. Thankyous were flying around the channel yesterday, as Arkhaal brought it to a new level...he created, and is hosting the bot. We can't thank him enough, the bot will be invaluable to our channel...he's really done us a huge favour. Gravgon deserves some mention, as he organised the arrival of our bot. A thankyou to both of you! Everynight at 8GMT(9CET) we have a huge TDM game, which then springs off into ra2 and smaller games when people leave. We've had 2 nights of TDM (and we've only been open 2 nights!) and both times there have been players than 8, so we've had to swap around - the atmosphere is great, and I love seeing this creation beneffitting the q2 community... -life.>

	A news post on q2scene is what our channel needs, we've already had 30+ visitors (in about 3 hours uptime), and created 5/6+ games. Basically our channel #Q2-Gamers is a room for active Q2 players to come to when they want a game, since it's birth I've only had to ask once for a game before people have responded. We are currently setting up our bots and scripts so that you can arrange games through !addgame <Gamename> which should help our purpose! We already have a solid crew, all with similar intentions and ideas...we are (obviously) still sorting things out and building them up, support us by using the channel! Let's keep active players together! We also have a serverscan bot, so you don't have to leave our channel to find a decent server. I hope to see you all soon, Regards, - life.>
