The R1Q2 client was never really designed for general use. It was designed for my use as I was not happy with any existing Q2 clients. So yes, I'm a bit apprehensive about some things that people want to be "fixed" or otherwise changed. I'll try and backport the 3.20 physics in the next release to keep you all happy...
The R1Q2 dedicated server is where I focus most of my attention as there seems to be little choice in that area for a secure and stable server binary.
Tried changing all the settings, physics still feel different and wrong. And since the developer seems about as friendly as the q2ace-dev was, i can't be arsed arguing with him on that forum.
Yes, it's like Larry said. With R1Q2 you need to meddle with settings more than with NoCheat which worked almost just by installing. Every1 not comfy with their R1Q2 "feeling"/movement should meddle with ALL the settings before whining. Use the forums readme/releasehistory to catch all the commands&settings available.
What's up with that fucked up jumping in this version. I.e. in ROOM at dm1 you could "strafe" up the boxes to the CA. In R1Q2 this is not possible. Also, there's something weird with the Ammo pack > CA jump in ROOM. Same issue there. Seems like you're being "sucked" on to the box and kind of stuck, if you understand.
Dimmo, it supports nocheat.dll (vid_ref "ncgl" so all old nocheat gfraphic related commands are available.
And r1q2 is not quite bad, if you tweak it a little.
bots haven't been seen, but a wallhack was found really fast though. The latest versions are a little bit better then the previous ones, lest hope for the best.
To be honest, it's really strange, that ppl adore Bryce, who has done only a few updates. But everybody hate R1CH and his client, which is very young and needs help and support, not stupid whine. If it is configured quite well, then it's pretty ok ;>
R1Q2 is not a ready-product but since NoCheat is dead we gotta look elsewhere and R1Q2 looks good atm. But it's most important all of you inform any bugs, faults etc. to R1Q2 developer R1CH. the gl_coloredlightmaps is still in it, but, I don't think it has cl_maxpackets , and I need it hardly through my upload limit But I find nc still one of the best clients
omg this r1q2 is awful ... one good thing that it dont fuck up the internet line ... but other stuff is bad... u should make same as nocheat but pu new security module and also that thing, when playing that internet-line wont fuck up
Setting cl_maxfps to my normal setting and cl_async to 0 solved my problem. 
so all old nocheat gfraphic related commands are available.
