After an unsuccessful first try on running the league, the of the have decided to give it another go, after running a quick to decide when to kick it off.
Signups
Allthough primarily    North American (not forgetting our Mexican brothers) players are encouraged to sign up, there is no stopping players from other parts of the world to as well.
Hopefully this will spark some life into the duelling scene in North American, more so than the unsuccessful hosted by GGL ( Lambo! is currently at the top). Ladders turns out to be very ineffecient way of running leagues for quake2 in North America at least. |

While the is stagnating, the is still going strong with the coming up next. Each groupwinner ( stheno and  CyC) will move directly to the semifinals, while the 2nd and 3rd ranked from opposite groups will pair up in the quarterfinals.

Looks like is still down, and there are plenty demo-junkies who just can't get their daily fix of q2-demos. Unfortunately there is still no news about when the demo-uploading will be fixed, so in the meantime we have to come up with an alternative way of sharing demos.

After an initial , the final and bronze-final of the are going to be played tonight! The organizers will also provide GTV for the games, so you got a good chance to check out how the mod is played if you haven't been following the scene closely (just make sure you got the right and ).
And LJ will do live commentating, more information will be put here once it's announced.

The Polish Quake2 scene is alive and kicking, and now the 4vs4 league is closing in on its end with the groupstage being finished and playoffs coming up. 3M () and 3c () won their respective groups, and are facing the 4th ranked in their opposite groups in the first round of the .

As the Quake2 we all love is celebrating 10 years anniversary December 6th,  frikA has gotten the pretty damn nice idea to host a LAN to celebrate the happening. But he is keen on finding out if there is any interest before he starts organizing it.

As most of you know by now, Floyd recently fought a car, and the . As a result he hasn't really been able to play quake2 lately, as he kinda injured his arm. Well, the good news is of course that he will be going to the hospital tomorrow (June 1st), and remove his .
