EuroQ2L: favorites going down | 2007-01-08 15:29 | daelmun |

Yesterday we were witnesses to not only one, but three games in the where a 5th and deciding map was needed. After a few disappointing walkover wins, these games were a reminder how great TDM can be when it just "clicks". And being a favorite coming into the game doesn't mean the outcome is given in advance.

HEAT: Adrenal1ne wins | 2007-01-03 15:03 | daelmun |
| |
| | |
|
Adrenal1ne took home the trophy in the . The tourney was a round based FFA tourney, where top 4 players in each heat of 8 would move on to next round untill there were only 8 players in total left. Where the final was decided best out of 3 maps (top score in total would win). The tourney was a bit chaotic and in future I'm sure there will be some changes to make it run smoother (map vetoing and players entering games in progress).
Standings:
1: |D|adrenal1ne (211 frags)
2: [BTF]Defiant! (176 frags)
3: [BTF]H1ndsight (166 frags)
Maps played in the final: q2dm1-q2dm8-q2dm7

I don't know if I'm the only one being extremely annoyed at gamebrowser inability to locate the servers by country at large anymore. So when I saw Wision give away a usefull link ( on r1ch.net forums) on IRC earlier today I thought I might as well make a newspost out of it.
You'll finally be able to filter servers by location with ASE again!
