Over at they're trying to focus on helping out players new to tdm (team deathmatch) or quake2 in general, so they can get a better understanding of the game. The is a way to utilize experienced q2-players combined with realtime voice-chat ().

Randypants covered the positions on q2dm6, along with some general information on the maplayout (key areas and itemplacement and so forth). Unfortunately the session was cut short due real life intervention.

In what was one of the most thrilling ends I've ever seen in 2vs2 game, the Swedes in [OK] managed to make a huge comeback from a 20 frag deficit on q2dm3 winning the game by one single frag in suddendeath overtime. Q2dm7 was really close as well, but [OK] managed to win their opponents map by a couple frags after leading for most of the map. Player of the match was necro.hr, with his stellar q2dm7 performance and solid play on q2dm3.

Jol has decided to the , due lack of time. This is the third player leaving in a matter of days,  Blaizz and kolt have also withdrawn from the league. Jol was one of the favorites to progress from group A.
Neither of the players will be replaced.
What is even more disappointing is xawik's poor behavior in his game vs floyd. As a result he is given a warning.

While I've been mostly focusing on news from Div 1 in , the Swedish powerhouse Clan Disable [CD] has been cruising through Div 2 undefeated with blowout scores in most of . The question wasn't if they would win, but by how much.
But today their winning streak has come to and end, as the Ukrainian clan Kiev Proffesional Demons (KPD) lived up to their name. In what looks to be an extremely close match, the Ukrainian side managed to squeeze out a 2-0 victory.

Over at one of the main contenders this season, Blaizz, is leaving the league.

Blaizz is moving to another place and he wont have any good connection there. He will only have dial-up connection and therefor ha decided to leave EDL. Sad that one of top players have to leave edl but we hope to see him back again next season!
Blaizz will be best known for his over Purri in the groupstage. He also won the recently finished .
