The fourth edition of 2x2 has started!
Before we start I have to ask ALL Clanleaders to edit their squad on the website. I think I gave everyone the rights to do so. If you don't have them just message me on irc (#2x2?).
I made some changes to the league layout for practical reasons:
- Invitational league
- 16 teams
- Direct elimination (4 rounds ~ 4weeks)
The maplist is the same as previous season: q2dm1,q2dm2,q2dm3,q2dm7,ztn2dm3
For further information and rules be sure to have read the carefully!
The first round for this league starts today and will end next monday or the 19th of march.
As last season I will be very strict with schedules and walkovers. Therefore rescheduling after the deadline will not be accepted, and the game in question will thus be turned into a w/o.
Now start scheduling and playing your game in this short, but this time hopefully succesfull league! Have fun!
I also updated the rules section. The big difference in rules is that R1Q2 coupled with the anticheat module is forced.
Games can also only be played on anticheat forced servers.

2x2? III is over.
As you can see, after waiting more thena month we got a w/o in the finals. Sad thing, but nothing to do about it I guess.
1st place goes to 2ez
2nd place ui
3rd place sYnth

Both winner and loser bracket are completed and now we only have one game left: the clash between the winners of two brackets:
GRAND FINAL: [2ez] vs  ui
ui (shug & hirzu) will have to win two best-of-3 games against [2ez] (provi & thaigo) in order to win the league. On the other hand [2ez] only have to get one clear 2-0 victory to the the gold home.
We have one week left before Christmas which also is the time you get to play your game!
Deadline = 24/12/2006 at 21.00 CET
The third place of the league has been granted to sYnth eventhough I think they would have done better then that if they could have played their last games.

Some bad news has come to our ears: according to MORPH-x both Assasin and Mik have been in a car accident... It seems that Assasin is in a pretty bad condition.
Although this incident of course surpasses the importance of ANY gaming league, we are obliged to go on with 2x2?, so a w/o is given to 2ez.
We wish the best of luck to Assasin and Mik and hope they get back on their feet soon! |
