various server settings/rules:
15 min time limit
5 minutes overtime
powerups on
no timers
matches will be allowed to be played 3v3, if a team can't field 4 (substitutes will also be allowed from the subs list, however captains must agree, and the player subbing must be in line with the player they are replacing.. ie: no using lion to replace a 3rd or 4th round pick.)
match play format:
each team will play one another in a round robin (all 3 maps) to determine seeding for a single elimination playoff bracket. Each map win will count as a point towards the victor's total.
maps will be chosen in #tourney2022, there will be a coin toss, one of the captains selects Heads or Tails.
ex: round robin
1. Winner of the CT bans 1 Map
2. Loser of the bans 1 map
3. Loser of the CT picks 1 Map
4. Winner of the CT picks 1 Map
5. Loser of the CT bans 1 map
6. Winner of the CT bans 1 map
7. Remaining map will be played as the 3rd map.
playoffs:
single elim, bo5. Seed 1 and 2 are awarded byes. Lowest seed plays highest. Lowest seed team flips for first pick.

A quake2 tdm tourney has come to completion in 2022...holy shit!! With that said, team  kangaroO has been crowned champion!
Shoutout to all of the players for playing,  Shloo for being a match scheduling savant, cse's crazy ass and his high ping, and  claire for these beautiful mvds.
