Q2DM1 - Slovenia's map



Right from the start it was easy to notice the big difference in the playing style.
I'd say Portugal has a typical instagib style, very sneaky and defensive.
Slovenians have a TDMer style, with fast movements running everywhere and fragging a lot (but dieing a lot too!).

The first 10 minutes of this map were very close, there wasn't more than 1 frag difference most of the time. Portugal had the lead for the first 5 minutes then it got even. The portuguese guys had a much better teamplay at the beginning, they really were sticking together and the slovenians were getting outnumbered.
It was a battle between Zearth (from the portuguese side) and Dug. They were the top scorers of their teams.

5 minutes left and the other Slovenians (less used to insta I think) started to figure out how to play more carefully. Shin and Putka stopped dieing and they started to collect many frags in the Arena and at Rail.

On the portuguese side, Kane was doing a good job and helped Zearth to counter the agressive Slovenians.

At the end Slovenia had control of the map and Portuguese were struggling, until the end.

Q2DM2 - Portugal's map



Not the best map choice ever if you ask me. Portugal had a really bad start, Slovenia had almost 20 frags before Portugal got their first one.

Here again, Zearth was the top scorer for Portugal. For Slovenia, Avis was on fire on this map. He basically stayed under the lifts and fragged anything that would come close to him.

Portugal managed several times to reduce the gap in score but Slovenia still dominated the game most of the time. Nothing more to add. Impressive game by Avis and Zearth.
